Bengals vs Steelers Dec 31st

For the home game vs the steelers all bengal fans should be either given a page sized poster at the gate or be required to bring one to the game. The poster is just of an asteric like the one the phillies showed bonds yesterday and it was CLASSIC. This should be done for that game....just think, if the whole stadium has it, it will definately be shown on all media outlets and the truth will be rewarded =)

If by December 31st we can't get over the fact that the Steelers won the super bowl... no matter how illegitimately... it will be one of the things that those annoying PTI guys make fun of us about. Get over it.

It will be the last game of the season... and possibly a game that determines the winner of the division. If we'll still be complaining about last year, we'll deserve whatever we get when it comes to being made fun of.

You're wrong again. The media never misses a chance to pound on Red Sox fans who can't get over their inferiority complexes enough to enjoy their own success. They were chanting "Yankees suck" when the Patriots won the Super Bowl! That is just sad. If we are winning the division, but can't get over the fact that the Steelers won last year, then we have issues for which we should seek professional help.

Enjoy your own success, and don't dwell on the success of your rival. This will lead to a happy life.

Doing the asterisks thing in the "Stealer's" logo and everyone holding it up in the stands isn't as much begrudging the fact they won the Superbowl as it is getting in their heads and taking their mind off the game to help our team. It's probably childish to dress up in customs and paint your face when you are an adult too...but how many thousands of Bengal fans do it EVERY game day? So get off your soap box and do your best to support your team instead of worrying what the other guy thinks, because quite honestly, the other guy is already plotting what he can do to get in every Bengal's players head when they roll into their town.

Yeah... I'm sure that Ben is wringing his hands about the signs that Bengal fans might be holding up. The only way fans get into the heads of professional athletes is to be incredibly loud. I don't begrudge anyone the right to dress up and have as much fun as they want in the stands. I think it is good for the NFL, and shows Bengal fans as loyal and even crazy. That's not all bad... but when you are reduced to holding up signs because of jealousy, that doesn't reflect well on Bengal fans.

It was the same way with the Steelers "we dey" chant. It showed me that we as Bengal fans were in their heads enough that after winning the Super Bowl they were still trying to justify their tainted victory over Cincinnati. Excuse me for not wanting to share anything in common with those rednecks.

Just enjoy the fact that we are and will be better than them. That speaks for itself.

Well, I'm siding with Derek on this one... I think come December, if we are still hung up on last years Superbowl champ, it's pathetic. If nothing else, it shows they got into our heads as fans and gives them even more room to gloat. LET IT DIE ALREADY !!! Hopefully, we will be on our way to the playoffs again and THAT is something to get all crazy about.

Don't get me wrong, be a good fan and support the hell out of your team, but don't do dumbass sh*t that brings a negativity to the team and the City. The whole thought of this coming from a fan from Philly should speak volumes in and of itself, they are all a bunch of classless assh*les to begin with.

If you want to get in the heads of an NFL player at the game, show up to the game and make some F*CKING NOISE !!! Be as loud as you can be and make it hard for the opposing QB to call his plays. I think the difference between the Steelers and Bonds is that Bonds CHOSE to take steroids. While I believe many of the SB calls were correct that is irrelevant. What is relevant is that the refs called things against the Stillers in Indy. The point is that no one controls the refs. If they did we should all stop watching the NFL right now. Seriously, if the Rooneys could pay Tagliabue off then we should all stop watching football. Bonds CHOSE to take steroids and that is why this is a national controversy constantly talked about.
