Hes only been convicted of possession. Thats it. Innocent until proven guilty. He hasn't earned the benefit of doubt right now but -so far- he hasnt been found guilty of more than a minor misdemeaner.

What was TO convicted of? He still had to go. What was Corey "Leon" McDillon convicted of? He still had to go. The fact is, Henry's constant fighting with the law is a distraction to the team, and cannot be allowed to continue out of the offseason.

There's a police investigation involving Bengals Wide Receiver Chris Henry.

This follows other legal problems for Henry, a marijuana charge in Covington, and charges in Florida.

Only Local 12 Sports Director Brad Johansen spoke to the Bengals Wednesday night about the new allegations.

Local 12 was investigating this story all day long Wednesday. Team officials tell Brad they have been made aware of the investigation. After conversation with both investigators and Chris Henry, team officials believe he was not involved in any criminal activity, and have been led to believe at this time he will not be charged with any crime.

Henry was implicated in this investigation, because he allegedly gave his credit card to a friend to use at a Covington hotel this weekend. When the complaint, involving a crime of sexual nature, was filed by a female, the credit card led police to Henry. He was not at the hotel when police contacted him.

Matt, What is your hang-up with the Bengal's lately? I read your site quite frequently and have noticed that you seem to be increasingly biased against our team.

I know that we have recently drafted a couple of guys that have "character concerns" but it seems to me that you consistently shine the spotlight on our "turd" that keeps floating back to the surface, than any other teams "turds" (except maybe the Vikings, Broncos or Browns).

You seem intent on trying to discredit this franchise and I am curious as to why you think our team deserves the increased scrutiny.

If the recent allegations against Chris Henry are true then you and I both know that Marvin Lewis kicks his stupid ass to the curb (Where he will likely be nabbed by the Raiders or Broncos). You name me one team that doesn't have more than one "character concern" player on it, in this league, and I will kiss your fuzzy, white ass.

I do enjoy reading your site but I hope that, in the future, you use the same Steeler colored goggles for every team in this league, not just your favorite.

We have all had friends with questionable character.

Do your friends get you arrested? Do they threaten to ruin the only chance you'll have to achieve your dreams?

Henry's "friend situation" is old news. And it's not all that different from Ray Lewis's murder case. So unless they intend to assign Hue Jackson to babysit him 24/7 (as they did after the first arrest), then the ball is in Henry's court, and the future is looking very ominous.

I don't need guilty verdicts to know this experiment isn't going well. Tab will be #4 by the end of training camp.

The article states that the crime is somewhere between Mike Tyson and Pee wee Herman.

I recall when we drafted this guy telling everbody what a punk he was because I had saw his antics at WVU but I had no idea he would be as bad as he has been already I still wish we had taken a DE or S instead of him at inthe 3rd last year.

Some guys get that big pay day and grow up and become professional and some guys just become bigger punks.

If Henry gets charged with a sex crime even if he gets out of it I say he is done in Cincy which is sad because he has talent.

This makes the Rucker and Nicholson picks look even worse than they did already if profootball talk is correct.
