Whur CHad At?
I would rather have my Hamby!
DontPushMe
Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but Tim Day went to ChicagoWho cares, we picked up a better free agent TE fit for our team. The last thing we needed was another TE who has no blocking skills and mediocre at best receiving skills.

CantStop85
Any Capologists out there? St. Louis drafted Klopfenstein in the 2nd and the Byrd in the 3rd. That's right... two first day TE's when they had already re-signed Manumalena... the TE I really wanted out of FA this year.So here's my question. Are there serious cap implications if they cut Manumalena since they just re-signed him? I don't know why they would want him with two impact rookies on the squad.(in case you're wondering about the relevance to the Bengals... I'm still hopeful that we manage to get him... but Graham would be even better out of NE).ManumaWhateverHisNameIs was traded by the Rams during the draft. I can't quite remember to who though. The guy in his career with St.Louis had a total of 9 catches! Not something that would intrest me at all...

When the Bengals went through eight picks and neglected to take ANY tight ends, I think that all but proved what value they place in that position. Therefore, I want Cooper Wallace, a excellent blocker, if he's still out there. Hamby might be all we get though.

His numbers have been better than Schobel's receiving numbers... and he is one of the best (if not the best) blocking TE's in the NFL.The point is moot now, since he is a Charger... but I liked him.
