Wah Wah Wah quit crying about the draft babies

I've gotten along with you really well the entire time I've been here, but this post is incredibly asinine.

First off, this is a message board. It's made for the fans to talk about what they think - be it good or bad.

Second, when we all put so much money towards a franchise with tickets and merchandise, we don't want to see them take players no one has ever heard of. I mean, you can expect people to be upset at that. Yelling at them to "stop crying" accomplishes nothing. Let them vent and get it off their chest.

Speaking for myself, I would have liked to have seen them take the best possible player at each selection like they did in Marvin's first draft rather than reaching for players who they may or may not need in the future. Just think, their draft could have gone:

1. Joseph

2. Pope/Scheffler

3. Simpson/Bing

So let's say they took Pope and Simpson - two players who were considered "steals" when they were selected. Imagine having a 6-8 TE and a 6-1 safety (who some have compared to Ed Reed) lining up for the Bengals in certain situations. Instead they have a lineman who has trouble defending speed rushers (in a conference filled with them) and a defensive end who is no better than the guys they already have.

Meanwhile, our tight ends are Reggie Kelly and Tony Stewart and our safety position is paper thin (imagine if Madieu goes down again) and the one player they brought in to help out is 30 years old and has fallen off in the last few years.

Finally, if I were the Bengals I'd be trading Kelly Washington & Jonathan Joseph to San Francisco for Manny Lawson right about now.
