Height: 6-0

Weight: 205

40 Speed: 4.45

Position: Return Specialist/Wide Receiver

College: Penn State

GIL BRANDT'S ANALYSIS

Kilmer ran his 40 one time at his Pro Day, clocking in at 4.45. He had a 40½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot-10 long jump, 4.12 short shuttle, 6.90 three-cone drill, and did 19 lifts. Kilmer transferred to Penn State from Shippensburg and played just two years for the Nittany Lions. He is really good on covering kicks and is a lot like David Tyree when he played at Syracuse. However, he is not that good at receiver.

Thanks for reposting what I already did

ok...so we take a WR from Pstate who projects as a DB...THEN WHY NOT TAKE ANWAR PHILLIPS???????????

THis has to be the worst draft in recent memory......

This draft is an F, as the late r7 pick we have left is basically worthless.

The Penn State fans I am talking to say he will most likely be a DB in the pros.

Yeah like Anthony Mitchell. Never see the effing light of day. If he was such a good DB prospect, he'd have done something with Penn State even with Lowry and Harrell. The Titans just took Cortland Finnegan. I'd have much rather have seen the Bengals pick him.

A gunner is a need, but I'd really like to have seen players with more than 1 dimension as special teamers. They already got Mitchell, Marcus Wilkins, and others. There were better picks available than this it would seem. But let Marv and his staff do their thing and see what happens.

If he is a beast after all, then goody

Give credit to the guy's agent.

I'm surprised they would pick a ST specialist, or that anybody would pick a ST specialist, but I guess they see something.

Any word from Penn State fans as to whether he tackles well on ST? I'm skeptical of a conversion to DB based solely on a 40 time and an interview.

I guess with you commens, Blain, you like this draft...If so then you are a kool-aid drinking homer...it is called objectivity...look it up in the Websters'.

Objectivity is hating every single player we draft? I didn't like every pick, but there are some I really liked. I love the Joseph and Peko picks. I'm not big on the OT pick in the second, but I did like him as a prospect. I just feel sick about it because it probably means we the team doesn't think they can resign both tackles. The Rucker pick I didn't like, but obviously they did and it fills a need. I'm not sure about the McNeil pick because I think he will refuse to play WR and will make a big stink. I like the Nicholson pick in the 5th. He may not have had great workout numbers, but he is a great football player and we need some beef behind Pollack. 7th rounders are a long shot to make the team anyway, but Kilmer doesn't have a lot of experience and could be molded into a good DB by Coyle. He is at least a special teams beast. I'm not the one looking at things one-sidedly.

Love the personal attacks.

I commented on the player, the rest of you are commenting on me.

Oh, and WCA? I stated my reasons for disliking the pick. No need for you to guess (wrongly) in the post immediately following.

You are right TJ - We should focus on the picks.

If you dish it out, you have to be able to take it.
