schweinhart Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Wow Schlegel in the 3rd....Jets probably could've waited a few rounds. 11 more picks to go then its Who Dey time again!
BigBenBlows Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 AZ is going to be terrifying in about 2 years!!!!!the Bengals of the NFC!!!I agree totaly. They are getting some damn good picks and with the Edge at RB they MIGHT just contend this year.

BlainThePain Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 wow so hes suppossed be levis replacement wow.........No, he's a *hedge* against Levi leaving. They better let Willie or Levi go, because otherwise this guy's a really expensive backup. Like Chris Perry. That's right - they'll try to sign Levi, but if they can't, they need to have a guy who can step in for him. Not saying Whitworth will do so nearly as well, but they do have to put someone out there in that event.Whitworth has the quicks, arms, height, and feet to play LT, and of course that was the position he excelled in at LSU against top competition. He won't be horrible, but I doubt he'll be as good as Levi.Did you finally start to calm down some? Earlier, you seemed so pissed I thought you might go on a murder/suicide rampage.
schweinhart Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Wow...hard to believe the Steelers would take Anthony Smith over Ko and the Dolphins Derek Hagan over Demetrius Williams.Live and learn 6 more picks to go and loads of talent left.
Spor_tees Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 St. Louis stole our draft! First round- Ty Hille Second Round- Fasano Third Round- Wroten

He won't be horrible, but I doubt he'll be as good as Levi. Then the decision should be made now to let one of the Olinemen go. And it seems to me that it would have been better to wait and see if Levi actually *does* leave, and if so, use a 1 or 2 *next* year. Sure you'd rather he had the year to integrate into the line, but if they do re-up the entire line, this guy will see very few snaps, and that's not what you want from your 2nd rounder. But if the plan is to start this guy in 2007 for sure, then that's not a bad pick.
Folz Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 22 games without a sack is pretty damn good in the SEC. Don't know why everyone is pissed. I trust marvin.
TJJackson Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Did you finally start to calm down some? Earlier, you seemed so pissed I thought you might go on a murder/suicide rampage.Still pissedR1 and R2 players should play right away, impact your upcoming season immediately.Unless we have a massive spate of injuries on the OL, in which case we won't be contending anyway, Whitworth will not see the field.

I think it will be fun to bring this post back up after a season or two. I think it will embarass some. I learned my lesson after I was pissed we took Madieu over Sean Jones.

TJJackson Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 St. Louis stole our draft! First round- Ty Hille Second Round- Fasano Third Round- WrotenThat would be a massive improvement, albeit I still wouldn't want Cheech Henry joined by Chong Wroten on the team.TE David Thomas gone - I know the Bengals liked him for some strange reason - NFL.com has him listed as Dave Thomas - I thought, sheesh, didn't the Wendy's Hamburger's owner die a few years back? :-)

schweinhart Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 I still got 7 2nd rounders left, most notably Ko, Orien Harris, Gabe Watson and Mark Anderson. And 17 3rd rounders left including Darnell Bing, Gerris Wilkinson, Ray Edwards, Eric Henderson, Parys Haralson, Tim Dobbins, Babatunde, Brandon Johnson, Leon Williams, Jesse Mahelona and Barry Cofield.I like Ko over any of these but lots of good options left to get some impact on D.
DuffMan Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 haha maybe the fact that everyone has skipped him should tell us something....even the Steelers, Raven, and Panthers passed.
Kazkal Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 24 88 Carolina (from Chicago) Anderson, James OLB 6-3 230 Virginia Tech25 89 Carolina Butler, Rashad OT 6-5 292 Miami (Fla.)26 90 Tampa Bay Stovall, Maurice WR 6-4 218 Notre DameBengals on the clock and ko on the board... plz marvin
coupdayta Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Take Gabe Watson. Please don't pass on this guy three times. He was supposed to be a first rounder and said he wanted to learn from Sam Adams. Shore up our D-Line for another 8 years with this guy.
