Spor_tees Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Anyone think they are having a crappy draft on purpose? So they can have crappy draft picks that will sign for less compared to skill position players? Then they have the extra money for extensions.
kingwilly Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Pope is gone to AZ>>>>>>>>>>>GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!F-this piss-poor draft.....

kingwilly Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 AZ is going to be terrifying in about 2 years!!!!!the Bengals of the NFC!!!
UK Bengal Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 tell u what is scaring me the way arizona has drafted they could be more of a contender than us next season :(:(gabe watson anybody ? unless KO is still there
kingwilly Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 TJ is right....picks are slotted...next thing you know they are picking ugly looking dudes hoping for the ugly guy discount.
Kazkal Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 think traded down in 2nd then traded up in 3rd we could have ko and pope o_O
schweinhart Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Wonder if they'll pop some wood for a LB now, like Alston, Leon Williams, Gerris Wilkinson, Clint Ingram or Brandon Johnson. Rather see Ko, Mark Anderson, Eric Henderson, Babatunde or even old Gabe, but LB is starting to get thick.
Kazkal Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 tell u what is scaring me the way arizona has drafted they could be more of a contender than us next season :(:(gabe watson anybody ? unless KO is still therethey still need Oline they grabbed 1 guy but still could use more but none the less ravens in 2007 I picture being force sense they can sign big willie next yearfrom bengals.comThe Bengals offered a surprise Saturday in the second round when they selected LSU left tackle Andrew Whitworth with the 55th pick, two selections after the Cowboys grabbed Notre Dame tight end Anthony Fasano. The move looks to be a hedge against losing starting left tackle Levi Jones in free agency next season after his contact expires.wow so hes suppossed be levis replacement wow.........
kingwilly Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 ugh...to even suggest that WHitworth could fill for Levi is a monumental reach....hobson must be in a room full of paint fumes as he types....

They better let Willie or Levi go, because otherwise this guy's a really expensive backup. Like Chris Perry.

Like Chris Perry. That's right - they'll try to sign Levi, but if they can't, they need to have a guy who can step in for him. Not saying Whitworth will do so nearly as well, but they do have to put someone out there in that event.Whitworth has the quicks, arms, height, and feet to play LT, and of course that was the position he excelled in at LSU against top competition. He won't be horrible, but I doubt he'll be as good as Levi.
