ArmyBengal Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Who's going to be there for the Bengals in the 3rd ??WAIT UNTIL AFTER WE PICK IN THE 2ND !!!WHODEY !!!
Whur CHad At? Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I am still hoping for Ko...but also I will look for Orien Harris or Rod Wright
AGrizzlyBaer Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 maybe even gabe, or bing will fall... who knows...
Whur CHad At? Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Pitt will get Ko or Bing...prob. Bing hopefully
BlainThePain Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Don't be shocked if we take a QB or a WR.
TJJackson Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I will be shocked if they take another offensive player other than a TE for the remainder of the draft - except maybe a QB in 7Needs to be defense pretty much the rest of the way
BTG Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Who will be there: Someone who can help immediately.Who they'll take: Someone who will help in 2-3 years.I'm still really pissed.... I suppose it could be worse....we could have Matt Millen running the draft.
AGrizzlyBaer Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 im waiting for the press confrence to see what marvin says about that second round pick...
DuffMan Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Pretty sure we have to grab a TE (Scheffler, Thomas) in the 3rd. If you think about it the S, DT, and DE needs are mostly for depth, so we could dedicate most of the 2nd day to those positions (5 picks). People just have to remember that drafting is a balance of need and value, assuming Willie or Levi is leaving Whitworth was a combo of both, as was JJ.
princeton Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 waiting for the run on the defensive linemen...
kingwilly Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 watkins will be there...maybe pope or Adjayano..
TJJackson Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 There aren't any TEs worth taking until much later at this point, all the good athletic ones are already gone.Thomas will last until 5 or so, and he's pretty much a reciever-only typeThere are several DLs worth considering now, as well as a few LBs and Ss
kingwilly Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 The only WR we should look at is Brandon Marshall...baby TO.I'd be happy to pass on a TE if they grabbed Marshall....Gotta look at an Alston, Nande, Mark Anderson...Ray Edwards....there is mass defensive talent left.
BlainThePain Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Cooper Wallace is the only TE left I like.
DC_Bengals_Fan Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Based on how well they've picked so far, I'm predicting a LB or WR. You know, somebody else who doesn't project to start for the team soon, or possibly, ever.
Kazkal Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 trading up in 3rd woulden't cost a whole lot still rooting for pope and ko
Spor_tees Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 I think they are making their picks out of a large drum full of envelopes. And how is Maurice Stovall still out there too? I think some GM's are trying to pick the not so obvious guys just so if the guy pans out, they can say how great of a pick it was and how genious they are.
BigBenBlows Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 I really thought they would get L Pope in round 2. We need a big TE and I doubt he'll be there at pick 91.
schweinhart Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 I got 9 guys left from the first 2 rounds:S KoTE PopeDT Watson and HarrisDE/LB Mark AndersonOL Jean-GillesWR Demetrius and StovallCB YoubotyBut I'm liking Chris Gocong.
kingwilly Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 How is Avant out there..?Maybe we could grab another project RB???
Whur CHad At? Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 How is Avant out there..?Maybe we could grab another project RB???Wouldn't be suprised
TJJackson Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Not that it'll make anyone happier about this crappy draft.....but Kelly Washington signed his tender todayhttp://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=5223
