BengalChamps
Anyone see the interview with Lavar on ESPN.com? He was very impressive, spoke well, and did not seem like the problem player that he has been portrayed as. I had never seen him in an interview before. He changed my opinion of him. I'd like to see him in stripes...but i wonder why the 1 year contract offer? Could be because they dont want to lose Levi and Steiny because of a Lavar Contract. Maybe if more people on this board would see it maybe their opion of him would change too!! And maybe they won't judge him because of last year. He is a great man and a good football player. ArmyBengal
Ok, here's a question... If the Bobbie Williams signing keeps us from paying Harrington 2 million a year, how the hell are we suppose to pay Arrington on a one year deal ?? All that talk = someone is full of SH*T !!!WHODEY !!!axe a few players.hell if we draft a TE in either rd 1 or 2, expect kelley to get the boot, that free's up room right there. Axe who ?? Not trying to be funny, but who exactly gets the axe ?? If this is as easy to do, then wouldn't it stand to ask why we haven't just axed anyone yet to sign a more glaring need at backup QB ?? I don't give a flying ratf*ck what we do, if they say they don't have 2 million to get a backup QB like Harrington for a year, what makes anyone think they will be able to get Arrington cheaper. I mean really, this doesn't even make sense in the least...WHODEY !!!
KiLBurn
Krenzel is not the worst option out there. Said it before, say it again.... Give the guy a chance and you might be surprised.
andybren
Lavar might take a 1 year deal as a sort of "reputation rehab" --- re-establish his credentials then sign somewhere else for big money. I said a few weeks ago that the Bengals might be able to scoop him up for peanuts (relatively speaking) if everybody else was turned off by his big demands. But I don't expect that will actually happen.Chad putting on muscle won't add to more cramps. His cramping problems in the past were attributed to his poor diet. Something he wouldn't be able to continue if he's adding muscle. I'm excited to hear that he's working harder than ever to be the best in the game.Krenzel is smart. He knows this training camp will be his best chance to truly establish his career in the NFL. Memo to KWash: This is what you're supposed to do when the guy ahead of you on the depth chart goes down.Good to hear that the guys have "a bounce in their steps". Sometimes it's easy for us die-hards to forget that last season's ending could be view as a big, unrecoverable disappointment. Next year's schedule won't be easy and we need the guys to be that much more geared up for it.
Bobcat Bengal
Yeah, I'm excited to see Krenzel and the other QB we're gonna draft in the Pre-Season.Hell, I'm just excited for the DRAFT PERIOD!Who-Dey!

And by his play on the field i don't want him, even if he knows his English
ArmyBengal
Are we still dreaming the "Arrington will save us" dream today ???Please wake me when it's over !!!WHODEY !!!
HairOnFire
Are we still dreaming the "Arrington will save us" dream today ???Please wake me when it's over !!! Wake up, it's over. Arrington has been on a tour of sorts as I've seen him on ESPN 3 days in a row. The rant is always the same, that he's looking for the best fit...not the most money. He sorta lights up when discussing the Giants and the Dolphins, goes flatline when discussing the Jags, evaded saying much of anything about Green Bay, and most importantly....never mentions the Bengals at all. Stripes
I am also quite sick of the Arrington talk. We covered our two huge defensive holes with Dexter and Sam, and the rest can be taken care of in the draft. Sure, Arrington would provide a boost, but that is not worth it when we have other financial obligations such as the offensive line and Chad's contract. Heck, we already have a pass rushing linebacker that I think will be better than LaVar by season's end.
