ArmyBengal
These are pretty funny quotes taken:"I believe that if Chad Johnson goes any higher than the middle of the second round than it is a wasted pick. He hasn't proven enough to be a 1st rounder, he has bust written all over him."and this one:"1st pick my a$$, Johnson will go in the first round only if he has good combien numbers and passes his physical, but hes kinda raw, and in my opinion just not that talented."Those are pretty good and funny right there !!!WHODEY !!! Kazkal
I'd say he should been a top 2 pick now between him and LT
BTG
"I actually just went to TSN and saw that. They also have a scout who says he'd take Chad over Keyshawn ... you have got to be kidding me.""Keep in mind that TSN was the one who quoted an alleged "scout" as saying Johnson could be the top pick overall. I wonder if the scouts they talked to were associated with the Bengals..."HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

turningpoint
sad thing is I remember when I was more excited about Thompson our 2002 2nd rounder at safety then Chad Johnson.I was like wtf another WR, s**t.
ArmyBengal
Nice to see the Bengals getting the best out of the deal, because to many times in the past they have been beaten up about picks. Thanks Chad !!! Now get an extension done on him as well !!!WHODEY !!!
BTG
Isn't it funny how they drafted the receiver combo from Oregon State in rounds 2 and 7 and they're now the clubs legit #1 and #2 receivers? When has one team ever drafted two receivers from the same school and had them turn into their two main threats? Has it ever happened before? Kazkal
I think i was looking for chads draft prospect info because I was bored and wanted see his 40 time etc
BengalChamps
This was cool to look back at. The Bengals always seem to do well with R2 picks. Can Pope fall to us in R2?
Kazkal
I doubt it he has much upside then stevens who went earlier then 24 I woulden't be suprised if someone snagged him before us.
The_Next_Big_Thing
The real steal of that draft wasn't Chad, but TJ. I smiled when I saw the one lone guy in that thread mentioning him.

derekshank
Yes, he is a deep threat/playmaker ... he is not in the class of all around wr's of Gardner, Terrell, Robinson, Mitchell, Wayne, or Morgan. And as a playmaker/deep threat, Santana Moss is much more of a threat. I think he can make a solid#2, great #3 guy, but he is not a 'premium' prospect IMO.How many of those other receiver mentioned that are in a class above Chad are making an impact in the NFL?Just goes to show you, you never know. The draft is more of a crap shoot than most want to admit... and it has a lot more to do with attitude and coachability than raw talent. (the very reason I like Maholena more than Watson at DT)
