ArmyBengal
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...htm?POE=SPOISVASome of the topics of conversation include:#1. Expanding playoff teams from 12 to 14. (Appearantly this has been voted down in the past, but is gaining interest again.)#2. Expanding the horse collar rule to include the inside of the back of the jersey. (Good thing by me)#3. No loading up on one side for onsides kicks. (What's the point then?)#4. Allowing WR's to reset after flinching instead of killing the play. (Good by me as well)The whole low hit on QB's as well as some other things are being discussed...WHODEY !!! Stripes
#1. Expanding playoff teams from 12 to 14. (Appearantly this has been voted down in the past, but is gaining interest again.) No thanks... I think the NFL has the best playoff layout of all the major sports... The NBA and NHL both have way too many participants, and MLB doesn't have enough.#2. Expanding the horse collar rule to include the inside of the back of the jersey. (Good thing by me) That sounds like it could lead to more controversial calls, but yeah I like the idea.#3. No loading up on one side for onsides kicks. (What's the point then?) That doesn't make any sense, though I'm sure there is some sort of logic behind it that I am not aware of.#4. Allowing WR's to reset after flinching instead of killing the play. (Good by me as well) Agreed. The whole low hit on QB's as well as some other things are being discussed... Good. Having franchise quarterbacks lose a season and more with no penalty flags is pretty lame.
San Antonio Bengal
#1. Expanding playoff teams from 12 to 14. (Appearantly this has been voted down in the past, but is gaining interest again.)Kansas City brings this up every year and it gets shot down every year. Hopefully it will be shot down yet again.#3. No loading up on one side for onsides kicks. (What's the point then?)Huh? What's the rationale behind this one?
ArmyBengal
The no loading on the onsides kicks is supposedly a safety issue...Isn't this football ??WHODEY !!!
