andybren Posted March 26, 2006 Author Report Posted March 26, 2006 if they don't put a stop to it now then that is what you will get all the timeI agree. And the arbritrator has already ruled in favor of the Hutchinson contract, so it'll take a "gentleman's agreement" among the owners to get this right.Gotta love how Spain hi-jacks a thread to spout off his own drug-addled rants. "The real ?" is NOT how we're going to protect our project players. Tab is in much jeopardy of leaving as TJ was. For Christ's sake he's only a second year player. The real question is why Spain doesn't have his own board so the mods here don't have to keep re-classifying his thoughts on drugs, prostitution, wire fraud, obesity and American "puritianism". Stripes Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 These new contract provisions are completely rediculous. For the love of Christ, matching any offer sheets for any RFAs will be about impossible if this keeps up. Quote
Spain Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 Koostra could draw some cash. You look at the player he is. I would try to steal him. Is just me are do our seventh rounders been pretty good. ,Koostra,Perry, Fanene. Quote
andybren Posted March 26, 2006 Author Report Posted March 26, 2006 Perry was a 6th round pick.Scout.com has 30 free agent OG's listed, including 7 RFA's. Kooistra is #15.Still available on the list are #3 Vince Manuwai (RFA), #5 Derrick Dockery (RFA), #12 Matt Stinchcomb (UFA), and #13 Tutan Reyes (UFA). Manuwai, Dockery and Reyes are starters. Stinchcomb was a starter who got injured.Kooistra is a back-up.Why would anybody give up a draft pick for Kooistra? Quote
