derekshank
Edgerrin James signed with Arizona. He won't be with the Colts... and in my opinion, James was the single biggest reason we didn't win that game. We were forced to over-compensate for him... and Manning chewed us up. If we have Palmer back, we should be able to beat Indy. The bad news is that Cleveland keeps making good moves. They just signed the NFL's best punter in Zastudil. They are going to be decent this year.

BTG
i still think we bea them 2x.All the free agent signings in the world won't change the fact that they don't have a proven QB and their running game rides on the shoulders of a man who runs the 40 in 4.4 days. They're like a watered down version of the Steelers - the Oasis to their Beatles.
andybren
They're like a watered down version of the Steelers - the Oasis to their Beatles.I like the analogy, but I think too highly of the Beatles to compare them to the Steelers. How about the Browns are the 98 Degrees to the Steelers' Backstreet Boys? HairOnFire
Another plus to consider, the Redskins just signed the Steelers best QB.
derekshank
Yeah... I'm not sure that the Steelers aren't a watered down version of the steelers now. Who is going to run all their trick plays to perfection with Randel El gone? And with Bettis gone, they are in need of both a RB and a WR. Not to mention the Deshea Townsend, and Chris Hope are FA out of an already shaky secondary, and The Devil Van Oelhoffen a FA... they have several holes to fill... and reportedly only 6.1 mill in cap space. They will still be a strong team... better than the Browns... but they will not repeat. ArmyBengal
Hmmm, not another Browns addition... Better not underestimate Frye, I'm telling you they are building...Glad to see the Edge get the dollars he deserves. I think Indy jerked him around IMO.WHODEY !!! walzav29
I don't think you can use free agents to go from horrible to good. You need the draft for that. Free agency will take you from good to great.

Free agency will take you from good to great. I'm not even sure free agency takes a team from good to great... Sometimes it screws cap space and sends you in the wrong direction. In the Bengals case, we better hope it isn't necessary for greatness.
skyline
Indy will be able to replace him...RBs come and go...no biggie.
