Exciting FA topic - sign a punter who can kickoff deep

The "exciting" part was meant in good humor, but honesty

1) Our punter was frighteningly inconsistent last year

2) It'd be nice....REALLLLLLY nice....if we could get kickoffs to the opponent endzone sometimes.

Here's a fellow who wouldn't cost us much but was the third best punter in the NFL in 2005 AND can kickoff deep

I say this fellow is worth a good long look.

Why am I such an advocate of attention to special teams? Look ever so slightly to your left and gaze upon my avatar :-)

Yeah reggie myles was a special teams stud. He seemed to always be around the ball on special teams. I know he did something stupid and basically got kicked off the team but does anyone know what exactly he did?

How about a compromise. I'll give you a guy who can get *punts* into the opponent's endzone. From the 50. Way too much leg to "lay up" and drop it on the 8. Oh, and when he's deep in his own territory, he'll shank them for 15 yards. Best part? He's already on the team!

Yeah, I'm cynical about our punter.
