no. no more Strong Safeties. we have enough big hitters who can't cover. we need at least one natural pass defender at Safety.
-
he got into (another) shouting match with one of his players.
-
no one on this team deserved it. Dunlap and Gresham might make an All-Rookie team.
-
big congrats to Desperate Derelict. I just couldn't keep up with his offensive juggernaut (128pts per game). still i feel reasonably happy after my first season of FF, and look forward to taking the crown next year
-
i think his D was overrated. passing defence was shoddy, and the rushing defence was decent only because of Patrick Willis.
i'd quite like him as a linebackers coach. he could do great things with MJ, Reyrey, and Rivers.

woah, just fired up atdhe.net, and my Bungles are winning against SD? what is this dream i'm in?
A post Christmas wet one!
I've had worse. GO BENGALS!
Absolutely. I'll take back to back wins anyday!
Definitely. guys... we beat the Chargers
on a side note, i'd take a few of your Holiday Hotties as well...

Looks like we're headed for an all-Gaelic final!

DOES ANYBODY READ THESE????
I do. they're pretty much the only reason i frequent this website, apart from the Boobiemeister's threads, and to occasionally commiserate with you guys about the state of the Bengals.

Game of the week: The Shillelaghs (11-1) vs The Lone Gunner (9-3)
I'm feeling quite nervous about this one.
-
I don't think we have that much work to do, honestly. Defense is (theoretically) pretty good apart from the safety position. Offense is OK right now at TE, RB, and part of the WR corps. we need a starting interior lineman, a QB, and a (new) impact WR, and the Offense should be pretty much settled.
-
woo-hoo, we get to stay up ridiculously late to be cruelly dissapointed
To quote a slightly updated sketch:
Marvin: "Same procedure as last week, Mister Brown?"
SoP: "Same procedure as every week, Marvin!"
-
definitely caused by his weight. seriously, why can't we force this guy to be like 330lb or less? it's not like he'd have to stop eating...
-
per PFT, Moss has been awarded to the Titans. definitely a good fit, VY can bring the play-action deep bomb, and CJ2K precludes safeties from covering deep too much.
-
the problem is Mike Brown. he doesn't want success. he's created a perfect business - the team is just good enough to keep the fans hooked and paying, but not good enough to require huge contracts. SoP is gonna milk this team as long as he can.
-
oh god, the holdout would last months.
-
This just in, Moss waived by the Vikings. I could see him landing in Baltimore, if Harbaugh thinks he can handle him.
-
I'd like to mention that I approve of the valiant attempt to help the Bengals by posting boobage. good job, Billy.
-
and Romo was by fantasy QB as well. Luckily, no one accepted my frantic trade offers for Kyle Orton
on a side note, i also had mark clayton and jermichael finley

gogo D-#!!!

wow, what a running back! explosive and everything!
what's that you say? he's a QB? oh, his completion percentage is 45 (per the first video)? not so good after all, huh?
stop posting videos of runs. i wanna see some clutch throws, the kind he'd have to make in the NFL when he can't outrun everybody anymore. Of course, i doubt his 45% completion rate will translate well into the pro game. In my eyes, all these (usually black, but that's beyond the point) runner/passer gimmick QBs in college never really do any good in the NFL. they're so used to being able to run when the passing lanes aren't immediately open that they'll pull it down as soon as the play starts in the NFL, instead of waiting for the passing lanes to open and making the completion. of course, after taking off, they make a few quick steps and then get clobbered by a 300lb D-lineman.
-
I'm sceptic of a QB who runs for almost three times as many yards as he throws for.
-
yes, sign him. he's a mauler and can pave the way for benson much better than anyone on the roster right now. of course, that means peerman (or coats, if he's still here) will have to go.

The Shillelaghs will be back as well, looking to improve on last year's 2nd place.
