  1. I'm sure this has already been asked - I apologize......anyone know where I can find this streaming live??? Thanks!

    Try this:

yeah working better than first row for me.

Anyone know how these sites can do this and not get shut down by the NFL? Are they off shore or something? Not that I'm complaining...

I was wondering the same thing. I used to use MYP2P and it quit working for me. I assumed the NFL squashed them.

  2. Far out, if at any point in time this season we need a 3rd string QB we are screwed, screwed silly. No way do I think we should waste the roster spot on a 3rd qb if we have a vet behind Dalton. Besides, it's not like at any point we have done anything with any project 3rd string qb. Not that many teams ever have. Worse case scenario Dalton and The Other Guy get hurt in the same game. Hand offs all day, and we'd do that with a 3rd string scrub. Sign a washed up never was qb first thing Monday. But why the hell bother with a roster spot.

Screwed how? We are close to screwed as it is. If we need a second string QB we are officially screwed. If we need a 3rd string QB...well...it's time to just sit back and laugh.

  3. At first glance, I thought what Hair had posted was the majority of the article. I also thought it wasn't real telling.

I went and read the entire article and yes, it's very well done. I enjoyed the read and agree with most of the points made.

People ask why Bengals fans stick with the team and I think it's to a point where it's almost a badge to root for and stick with them.

If and when the day comes when the Bengals win a Super Bowl, it will be a sweet day for those who stuck with them.

I've put thought to what that day would be like and it would certainly being tears to the eyes.

Great point. I moved back to Cincinnati about 3 years ago from New England. It always struck me how easy it was to be a Patriots fan. It takes no effort and it requires only a mild appreciation and love of football as a whole. It would drive me nuts to hear colleagues gloating over a victory when I knew they couldn't name one person on the team. To be a Bengals fan on the other hand...emotional agony...effort.

But just like you said...it makes the few times we approach the playoffs that much sweeter and when the day comes that we when the Super Bowl it will be a sweet sweet day.

  4. "1 season removed from winning the division"????

Been saying that every year for 20 years...it's a tradition!

If your meaning was the same as walzav's, the Bengals would have won the division 10 times during that span. :P

Ha! Nope - I meant we suckers have very short memories and we're unreasonably hopeful and naive! Who dey!

  5. Both ML and Palmer have now publicly expressed their desire to leave the organization.

ML threatened to leave unless X, Y, and Z were changed. Only ML and SoP know what those changes are and, frankly, I’m baffled because I have seen or heard nothing significant since he was re-contracted. Something HAD to have changed or he wouldn’t have stayed. Correct? What changed? Anyone?

Palmer’s request came on the heels of the ML incident so I can only assume one of two things:

    1. The demands granted to ML to get him to stay were not enough for Palmer

    2. Palmer’s main gripe was with ML and since ML stayed Palmer wanted out

It leaves me wondering if any of this would be happening if the CBA train-wreck wasn’t just around the corner…

    Thoughts?

  6. I had a weird - never before seen shift in my attitude about 1/3 of the way into this past season. I went from very engaged and excited to apathetic, resentful, and mildly annoyed. I haven’t felt that way since the late nineties and I realized I had been fooled twice so shame on me.

Whatever is going on with Palmer is just a symptom of a bigger problem. I’m amazed at the posts that say he sucks and he’s the reason the Bengals fell face first into the s**tpile. Palmer is a very solid QB. Put him in a better system and he’s on fire.

The issue? The Bengals organization is just a giant soup-sandwich.

  7. This was great because it really showed how horrible this team is.

    News flash, Sparky.

    WE ALREADY KNEW!!!!!

But did Mike Brown know? He has a low football IQ. Obviously. Even he should be able to see how bad this was.

Mike Brown will point to the injuries on the secondary and how unfortunate the turnovers were. MB has seen this in 18 of 20 seasons why would he pick this one to all of the sudden change anything?

Furthermore...we can't draft worth beans anyway so what good is a first round draft pick?

  8. http://espn.go.com/b...-up-the-bengals

ESPN says its time to blow up the Bengals.

How do you blow up an implosion? ;)

    With anti-matter I guess?

With Mooch and Billick both expressing interest, look for Marv to be calling CBS football games next year, or as a studio host for NBC replacing white bread Dungy.

Why don't you look for Shannon Sharpe's taint on your chin.

Dude, what is your obsession with groin? Give it a rest.

  9. Yep - the refs fumbled on the openning kickoff, refs threw the interceptions, refs blocked that punt, and those sneaky refs moved the goal posts over when Nugent made that perfect kick.

If you want to believe the boogie man stole the game from us in order to cope then that's cool - but you need to face the hard truth that the Bengals are...well...not very good.
