  1. Boyd moves the chains!
  2. Nice grab Evans
  3. Throwbacks! I approve.
  4. So looking at the site, inactives will include: Chase Tupou Apple (hammy, third degree burns from last week) Stanley Morgan (hammy) Hobs expects Irwin to get the call up from the taxi squad. Njoku, Denzel Ward, G Wyatt Teller all declared out by Cleveburg.
  5. Steelers crushed.
  6. For $1.9 billion it better be nice.
  7. Word is they are hoping Chase can heal faster than expected. I wouldn’t be surprised if they kept him active but didn’t play him or played him only sparingly. We’ll see.
  8. What’s more important than getting the right Halloween costume?
  9. Giving UDFA to starter Adomitis anything but an A is just churlish. You never need a LS until you do, it was damn smart of the staff to bring him in and it’s paid off in spades. Dehner can eat a bag of salted dicks there. Volson, for all his struggles, has been a winner. He has a future in this league imo. If he’s not a golden god yet, who is, and as this article’s comps show, he’s way better than anyone had right to expect. An A from me. Carter is better than a C. It’s a weird write up that says he’s had no real bad plays but…C? Whatever. I go B at least. The rest is all incomplete. Hill was a pick for the future (Bates) and Britt has been hurt. This is all TBD.
  10. A 40 Arby’s burger would be even better. Those things are pretty damn tasty. Still pissed they cut the potato cakes tho.
  11. Top 5 O/D:
  12. Kay edging back onto the bandwagon…
  13. Tupou, Tufele and Carter all stepping up in the wake of Reader’s injury has been very impressive. DJ’s loss has still been felt but they have really blunted the impact. And with Tupou out Tufele had a hell of a game yesterday. Next man up has been a real thing on the dline so far this year.
  14. I didn’t think that the Falcons were really any good before the game and nothing that happened yesterday changed my opinion. So I’m trying not to read too much into the win. What I think can be said is that the Bengals firmly and decisively did what they should have done. They did not play down to the level of an inferior opponent, as we’ve seen them do all too many times. Offensively, the mission was to take advantage of Atlanta’s poor pass defense, and defensively the goal was to contain their run game and make Mariota beat them. Mission accomplished on both counts. The only two real points of criticism are Apple getting beaten on that 75 yard TD and the punt at the end of the half. On the former I can cut Eli some slack. Shit happens. Hell, on Boyd’s first TD the guy covering him just flat out fell down and left Tyler wide open. The punt however was either a total coaching brain fart — it ought to have been booted safely out of bounds — or a failure on Huber’s part to do so.
  15. Have to have this one. Can’t afford any more division losses. Fortunately it sounds like frustration may be boiling over in the locker room on the lake. https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2022/10/browns-players-screamed-and-yelled-in-locker-room-after-23-20-loss-to-ravens-and-had-to-be-calmed-down.html
  16. Good game. Cheers, folks, been a while since we got one like this
