  1. BTW.. THAT WAS AWESOME HOW THE FIRST FEW OF YOU TOOK A DUMP ON MY POST.. KUDOS.. YOU MUST BE CARSON SUPPORTERS!lol

No. It's not you, it's me.

I have this friend who does that voice, "The Most Interesting Man in the World", to the tee.

Annnnd....about 4-5 of us (me, Derek, HOF, Mem, Billy, Hoosier, more I haven't mentioned) have beaten the Palmer topic to a bloody, indistinguishable, mess from January to the beginning of March.

I just don't have it in me anymore.

No, its ok.. i have the dos equis shirt.. i didnt realize it til it was pointed out how i began the post.. I love these commercials anyway.

  2. I am ready to move on

We all have to be. What we had wasn't working. To be truthful I thought the Bengals would be a powerful force in the league last year, and I was horribly wrong. It's time to re-shuffle the deck and play a different set of cards, and I like the ones we hold now.

Billy I was in the same boat with you after winning the division the year b4, and adding T.O. I thought that was all we needed, this season was just painful to watch...

Yeah, the way the season played out, my friends abused me. I was believing that the team we had last yr would go deep into the playoffs. Never have I went from liking a player to hating one as fast as I did with Palmer.

There was a point, in the season, around thanksgiving vs the Jets where he would throw the ball right to the other team more than he would his own players. I want to see him get traded to someone on our schedule and have someone knock him out of the game. He lied about fans throwing garbage on his front lawn according to one neighbor.. cowardly move. he showed his timidness in the pocket when he'd drop back to pass, which would lead to underthrown balls and incompletions.. and he'd ruin good drives by turning the ball over.. There were guys open on the plays, he would just show horrible poise and decision making. Im ready to move on and go with a fresh start. You dont support one player you support the team.. and the team isnt clicking on all cylanders under no.9 anymore.

BTW.. THAT WAS AWESOME HOW THE FIRST FEW OF YOU TOOK A DUMP ON MY POST.. KUDOS.. YOU MUST BE CARSON SUPPORTERS!lol

  3. I dont come on here that much in the offseason, but when i do, its about this time of year. Personally I absolutely loved our first two picks. Its time for a changing of the guard here. The team with the current leaders of the last several years were not going to win much and it was clearly evident. AJ Green is the best receiver in this draft. People say he has Randy Moss like potential, but he can block and run routes. Randy cant do that. Andy Dalton was always a winner in college, he is a smart decision maker and an ultra competior. He is the QB with the leadership qualities this team soarly needs. Was Carson a good decision maker over the last few yrs?? The man threw 20 INT's this past season. ive watched almost every game over the 18 yrs and the man (Carson) cannot read a defense well at all the last 3 or 4 yrs. He lost it on his fastball and couldnt force the throws he used to. Andy is a fiery leader who wants to win, andy is the type of guy that will let you know when you have done well or will wanna bust you in the mouth if you F*ck up, as to Carson, seemed to be more quiet, not to mention he quit on us and his teammates. Dalton is the most ready for the NFL Qb that was in the draft in my eyes.

All that being said, ive been reading the draft topics and I get a sense that this is gonna turn into the Carson loyalists and the fans who want a new atmosphere. I for one want the change. (although I will miss 6 time pro bowler Chad Johnson/Ochocinco. Despite most fans disaporval, he has provided many positive memories, and holds almost all of the franchise receiver records. Hands down the franchises best receiver and possibly the best player, talent wise since Anthony Munoz.) There are fans that liked the pick of andy dalton, there are still fans out there that still think that Carson is right and support him on his decision. Those fans who think that are still the ones who think that generally believe that he should still be the QB for this team.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS: CARSON WASNT GOING TO TAKE US ANYWHERE. IT WAS QUITE APPARENT! EMBRACE ANDY GIVE HIM A CHANCE! SOMETIMES CHANGE IS GOOD AND WILL HAVE TO LET THINGS GO. DONT YOU WANT THIS TEAM TO WIN! I WOULD BET EVERYTING THAT I HAVE THAT BY YEAR TWO A STRONG MAJORITY OF YOU DOUBTERS WILL HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND. AND FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK WE SHOULD HAVE DRAFTED RYAN MALLETT I GOT NEWS FOR YOU TOO, THE GUY IS A KNUCKLE HEAD! HE REMINDS ME OF RYAN LEAF, AS FAR AS PERSONALITY. NOT FOR NOTHING, I'D RATHER HAVE THE GUY SETTLING DOWN THAN THE GUY WHO GOES OUT AND DRINKS AS MUCH AS I DO.

Have faith in Andy Dalton is all I gotta say. you may rip into me if you must (its a free country were all americans).

  4. Some say the Cincinnati Bengals made a bold move. I say more of a stupid one.

The Bengals added another problem child to their roster when they signed Terrell Owens to a one-year contract worth $2 million. Owens has a chance to make another $2 million in bonuses.

    Mark my words -

the Bengals just threw money down the drain with this deal. They apparently couldn't come up with a plan to make their team better, so they've purposely sabotaged the season.

Why else would they sign another mentally unstable player? Owens makes the fourth player to sign who has proven to be hard to work with in the past. Cedric Benson, Tank Johnson and Adam "Don't call me Pacman anymore" Jones are the other three with previous off-field issues.

Head coach Marvin Lewis and his staff definitely will have their work cut out for them. They've done a pretty good job of keeping wide receiver Chad Ochocinco in check. But I don't know how they'll fair with four more space cadets.

Owens will be the toughest to handle out of the bunch. He's already taken some of the spotlight away from the team when he didn't show up for the first day of workouts because of a missed overnight flight last week.

The Bengals didn't make a big deal about the situation. Instead, they tried to focus on how great Owens did when he finally made it to practice a day later. Yeah, it's going to be one of those seasons.

Owens and Ochocinco might respect one another and try to keep their egos in check. But in the near future, these two grown men who love to whine and have everything go their way eventually will clash. This relationship won't end well.

The Bengals organization will continue to cater to Owens every need until they figure out he's not worth the time or money. But by then, it will be too late.

I'll definitely be the first to say, "I told you so."

Do you guys smell something??? I sure do, it smells like a dirty ass troll. Who's your team?? Dont tell me its the Browns, cause then you are wasting your time. We are gonna beat the piss out of them this year whoever it is.

  5. i still feel that we are a more defensive team, with another year in coach Zimmer's system its natural to think things will get better. We didnt lose anyone and we have made solid pickups through the draft and FA's. And I heard we brought in this receiver who is pretty good.. some guy named Terrell Owens..lol. But I just feel our D will be just as good as last yr and our O has only made improvments. 85 and 81 together on the same field will only make things easier for Cedric, who by the way will be playing a full season. He may not see 8 in the box all yr, so if you are big on fantasy draft him early second round. I just feel big things are on the horizon, and just can not wait.

  6. Like stated in previous threads.. this has been a near perfect offseason so far, despite Fat Andre, (which the only thing he is in shape for is to challenge Joey Chestnut and Kobayashi in a hot dog eating contest.) Don't wanna jinx it.. but i like the rest of you have high expectations this year. We have the 4th toughest schedule in the league going into this year, but that really doesnt mean anything before the season, teams change from year to year, it has more value once the season starts and you see where everyone else is. With that being said what do you think that our record will be?? Personally like Carson stated, I feel there isnt a team on here that we cant beat. This is our best team since '88( I believe).

    Week 1 New England(away)

    Week 2 Baltimore(home)

    Week 3 Carolina(away)

    Week 4 Cleveland(away)

Games 1-4: I believe we can start this season 4-0 at best, worst case scenario 2-2. I think that we'll beat NE at their place, and despite what the pundits say, I will say this right now.. WE ARE BETTER THAN BALTIMORE.. GET OFF THEIR NUTS!! Flacco is really overrated because of his arm strength Carolina and Cleveland.. i wont waste my time. Expecting 3-1 or 4-0 in this stretch.. leaning towards 4-0

    Week 5 Tampa Bay(home)

    Week 6 BYE

    Week 7 Atlanta(away)

    Week 8 Miami(Home)

Weeks 5-8: Tampa we should beat 99 times out of 100.. should win that one. I have a feeling we'll lose a game in the ATL or MIA stretch, just not sure which one.. expecting 2-1, the better team doesnt always win every week in this league. More like a loss for the sake of losses, cant win every game??( Maybe :)????)

    Week 9 Pittsburgh(home)

    Week 10 Indianapolis(away)

    Week 11 Buffalo(home)

    Week 12 NY Jets(away)

Weeks 9-12: I fully expect to beat Pittsburgh twice this year, Indy has had our number, and surprisingly Buffalo has even had our number even though they have had some awful teams, and the Jets we owe some serious payback!! Lose to Indy, beat PIT, BUF and a big win vs the Jets on Turkey day!!!But we will play the Colts again later in the season.

    Week 13 New Orleans(home)

    Week 14 Pittsburgh(away)

    Week 15 Cleveland(home)

    Week 16 San Diego(home)

    Week 17 Baltimore(away)

Weeks 13-17: New Orleans wont be easy, but for some reason, Im really lookin forward to playing the defending champs and beating them. PIT like I stated, we are flat out better than this year too. CLE again, why waste my breath. SD always gives us trouble, we can beat them, same as Baltimore in their place, as previously stated.. losing for the sake of a loss, we'll win one and lose one and finish...

    12-4

I say we get to the Conference title game and play in a rematch at Indy. And what happens there, I dont have the balls to predict. This could be our year.

  7. Every show i watch, every article i read, and every power ranking u check out show that the so called experts think that we will finish second if not third. its like baltimore won the division last year, and we did nothing. heck we have had their number pretty much since Carson lead a comeback on them at their place in '04. This is mainly a feeling that the media is slighting the bengals.. just because they are the bengals. Its cause of the team name. If we were any other team.. even atlanta, people would have higher expectations for this season...

we swept our division last year.. thats not done too often... top 10 defense last year.. and guess what they are all coming back = DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!

just curious on anyone elses thoughts??

  8. Its bad enough that the ravens are 3 but i feel even more offended that he has the balls to put the steelers at 12!! They will be without their Franchise degenerate QB for almost the first half of the season. They have got rid of their most athletic receiver in Santonio.. not to mention that even with them, like the Ravens we beat them twice last yr. we will be the team that goes further than both of them, yeah we got a tough schedule, but we are a REALLY good team this year!!

  9. How we go at it should not just depend on if NE beats Houston. I say we should go for the win even if it just effects our opponent, we can pick and choose who we could play!(for example if the steelers can get in if we win, i say start JT o'sullivan..not sayin we cant whoop em again, but because we dont want them in it at all and we hate them.lol)

  10. i guess we are alright. we gave them a tough fight at their place and they go on the road and man handle one of the hottest teams in the NFL at their place on Christmas. it shows how good we really are. With that being said their is still no such thing as a good loss, and in no way am i ok with a loss. Im just sayin that we are much better than the media has been givin us credit for.

  11. Personally thanks to Mike Brown for giving him another chance. everybody makes mistakes. mike brown did the right thing by giving him another chance. he would have been a star, now he is our star above Paul brown stadium watching over our bengals.I just hope that he is in a happy place. REST IN PEACE #15

  12. No baby, I said that Chad never trash talked the organization. He never did what Dillon, Spikes, Pickes did. I said that he wanted out because "we" (MB) were not bringing in the players that we need to win. That "we" are not doing what we need to do to win. He wanted a trade because he wanted to WIN. That's it.

He indirectly stated that the owner was a cheap bastard that didn't care about winning and he wanted out.

It's dumb to argue about now but certain people still wanna call Chad a douch bag for what reason is beyond me..

Absolutely agree, we are 7-2 and Chad has been having a good year, but buy far not his best, but its an all around team effort. See how his attitude changed once we started winning, hasnt said anything negative this year.

  13. Duus, if you are out there, we could use some scoopage from the Steel City this week. After, membengal's excellent daily diary of commentary from Baltimore for both games, I think we need some more. Hopefully you will be able to help us out. :sure:

We dont know what happened to duus, havent heard from him after the 2007 season. He probrably went crazy and became a Steelers fan :( ..... god i hope not

  14. T.J. Houshmandzadeh -- He's built a career on consistency, but this season Housh has been consistently mediocre. He's averaging just 48.3 yards per game, but according to him, Sunday's poor showing wasn't his fault since he was open all game. Whether that's true or not, Nate Burleson and John Carlson each had more targets than T.J. with Seneca Wallace at QB. If you start him and be bombs, it still won't be his fault, so just bench him and save yourself the heartache.

    Clearly struggling out in Seattle...

This was from the "Start Who, Sit who Week 4" on sportsillustrated.cnn.com. Maybe he really was the cancer. How about the last two weeks TJ?? Hope you enjoyed them!

    Who dey bitch!!!!!

  15. Ala PFT:

that Derek Anderson will get the nod over Brady Quinn.

The headline in the Columbus Dispatch on Monday was, "Browns appear to be unravelling."

That headline assumed that at some point they were ravelled, which I would dispute. This has all the traits of a trap game. A desperate team, bringing back a player that had been benched and who can now win his job back with a good day and a win, and a team coming off a huge emotional win that has every reason to look past the opponent.

Good point Central. I thought the same at first. But then I look back at the Broncos game, our Bengals could have packed it in, that is a crushing way to start the season, but they came back strong and beat two very tough teams. Then I look at our offseason moves and the draft. Totally different team from 2007 when we went in overconfident and lost (51-45). Much stronger defense than then. We have a young team, but that comeback showed me that they are wise beyond their years and have a lot of heart. Lets Not forget, Carson is healthy, o line... not the best but unified and working as one, really gettin the job done protecting our franchise QB.... btw Chad is happy and having fun again, seems to have stepped up not only as a team player so far but as a leader somewhat. The scoreboard will reflect on who the better team is. And we all know who that is... Bengals 30 Browns 10

    WHO DEY

  17. According to Chad he may start posting on message boards when he needs to vent.

Maybe now when I vent, I should just do it to the fans on the message boards."

So, I thought it would be fun to give my take on what it would a Chad post would look like.- maybe some of you would like to post your own.

Hi, my name is Chad Joh..... oopps! Chad Ochocinco - I changed my name recently and some times I forget my new last name and how to spell itl- Johnson was my old name before I met Drew.

I play football (when I feel like it) for the Cincinati Bengals, most football payers try to win games- what chumps!- My purpose is to make the Bengals loose and still make it look like Im trying- its alot harder than you think.

Why? Because I HATE THEM, I HATE THEM ALL!!! Why? Because my agent Drew Rosenhaus says to- He says to hate everybody and everything until I get a new contract or get traded so he can make more money.

I Called Drew last night to ask him when to take a $hit and how high to jump and he said that he is going to buy a new ring for my nose, for him to drag me around with(the last one was chaffing).

Drew says to hate everyone but , mostly Marvin Lewis, Mike Brown,my teamates , and my (Cincinnati Bengals) fans- Drew says every time somebody dies its because they killed them.

Drew is smart, he tells me everything , what to think, when to think it ,what to eat , when to eat it, ... you get the picture.

I have to get a new contract , I was called to do an episode of Cribbs and I was too embarrased to be on it, my pool is not even big enough to fit all of my 32 cars and my private jet in- wouldnt you be embarrassed too!

Drew is magic, he knows everthing, all of us players that he represents All need to be traded and are all being disrespected.

Last year, for example ,Drew said not to work out and make an a$$ of myself, and then before the season started to say that, Ray Lewis straightened out my head- and then sabotage the team all year, this year he said to say that Denzel straightened out my head.

Drew said to say that a UFO straighteded out my head next year-but, I said Drew some people dont believe in UFO's ,could we say that it was God that fixed me? Ha! Ha! Drew reminded me that HE was my god. Ha! Ha !

I cant wait for traing camp, it gives us players a chance to see the fans( fools that buy my jersys) up close- and spit in their face- I love to see the look on their faces when I wont sighn a Jersey that the idiots have paid $300 for with my name on the back.

Speaking of jerseys, buy some of my damn jerseys with my new name on it! Whats a'matter with you people? I said I have appologized 85 times, even though I hadnt done it once, its just as good, if you say you have done it 85 times(my number) its like magic and makes you think that I have done it , and you missed it.

Well, I have to go now, Drew has got me an audition for a movie part, even though my last attempts to act were a disaster, everyone agrees that this role is perfect for me, - the lead role in the remake of the JERK !

Give him an A for effort, but an F for execution. Good try but no.

Hey, what's up Bengalszone, it's the Ocho. Did you stupid asses really think I was going to come here to vent ?? For real ??

    Child, please...

Oh yeah, I'll be on a pay per view event where I get Mike Brown in the ring. I plan on whoopin' that dudes ass !!!

    It's only $99.99 in advance !!!

I would definitely pay for Chad to beat the s**t outta mike brown. Id pay triple.
