I am a big Bengals fan.. WHO DEY !! But I have to work Friday night and cannot attend the last preseason game. So I've got two tickets, just sitting here, for anybody to use. So I figured I'd write something here, asking anyone who doesn't have any plans for Friday night to say, write me your best Bengal memory and a way I might contact you via e-mail, and you might just receive a pair of free tix to Friday's Ind-Bengals game. I want someone to sit in my seats and enjoy themselves and who is better to do that than someone on Bengalszone.com... WHO DEY

The day was sunday october 19th, the year was 2003. 20 years of haplessly waiting were finally about to come to an end(i was 20 at the time). I was about to go to my first bengals game.

Me and my bestfriend dave had been watching bengals games every sunday for years(when they weren't blacked out lol). So we were both very excited to get to the game. We were traveling on I 75 south when the car broke down. Smoke was pouring out from underneath the hood. So there we were stranded on I75 watching state troopers just drive on by us without stopping to help. We called anybody we could think of to come out to pick us up, without any luck.

We decided to leave the car there(after it was done smoking) and walk and hour and 10 minutes dodging cars (two near death experiences) to PBS. The first time i heard the roar of the jungle is when we were right outside the Front gates and opening kickoff just went down. We rushed to out seats and then it hit me. I saw it, the field. It was so beautiful  We finally got to our seats and watched a great game.

Sure, it wasn't out first win of the season, but it was the day that changed the team I think, and It changed my life too. I know I will be a bengals fan till death!

and if that isn't good enough, I did get beat up when I was 6 or 7 by a 6th grader for being a bengals fan.

I'm sure me and dave could get great use out of those tickets man. We wouldn't let u down :) If you would like to contact me, you can do so at Btrester151@yahoo.com

Thanks for your time

WHO DEY!!!!!!

Congrats, Btrester. you've got the tickets.. WHO DEY.. Now, I'm just waiting for your e-mail reply at your Yahoo address.. I'll overnight the Tickets and you'll have them on Friday morning. . . These aren't nose-bleed tickets either, but I won't disclose their exact location, except this -- you're on the side of the field where the Bengals enter the field and go through pre-game drills. Thanks for everyone's input. If Btrester wants to disclose the location of the seats, that's up to him.He should have a great time -- I wish I could have gone myself, but will feel good knowing a fellow Bengal fan will be enjoying 'em.. :P

Congrats on the tix man!!

That game against the Ravens was my 1st and only Bengals game. I was 28 at the time and I drove 8 hrs to NY to pick up my Dad, we left the next morning and drove 8+ hrs to get to Cincy and we were at the game the next day.

Luckily, we has no car trouble and we had a great time at the game. We have some wonderful friends in Cincy who are season ticket holders and they gave us a choice of home games to go to. They also let us stay with them while we were in town, and we really enjoyed ourselves.

I have yet to make it back to Cincy for another game, but I'm really looking forward to getting back. I also want to see a game at Great American Ballpark. I had a chance to see the Reds at Riverfront back during Dieon's first stint with the team. I saw 3 out of 4 games vs the Rockies, all victories, but haven't been to a Reds game since.

I just realized, I'm undefeated in Cincy sports home games...3 Reds wins and 1 Bengals win. I should be brought in by the teams for good luck!!

I'm looking for Mikey to step up and fly me into town, send me to the game in a limo, and give me a seat in the owner's box.:lol:

My dad was also at all of those games, but he grew up in Cincy so I'm not sure if he has an undefeated record.

I'd gladly pay for tix to a Bengals game, but I'd want to know where some of the Bengalszone faithful do their tailgating so I could party with some True fans!! B)

I wanted those tix so bad I could snatch em.......ah well, here's my fond memor(ies)...

First game I went to was a Pittsburgh Steelers game, I believe two or three years ago (hard to remember). It was really cold, and my dad, my friend Eric, his friend Kevin and I left Dayton early to meet up with some of my dad's other friends and tailgate for a while. After smashing some Bratwursts, we headed to the stadium, taking in all of the sights and sounds of the impending game.

We got some really great seats, lower level around the 50 yard line, right in the meaty part of the stadium. There were two things (actually, three) that I remember about that game. One, was the blocked Extra Point attempt I believe by Brian Simmons that was returned for a TD. Two, it was cold as f**k. And three, the Steelers were apparently whupping the s**t out of the Bengals late in the fourth quarter, and we had gotten up to go, I mean, come on, these were the Bengals we're talking about. So, as we are leaving the stadium and heading towards our car, we hear these explosive cheers still coming from the stadium, but had no idea what it was. So we continue walking until we get to a hot dog vendor's stand, listening intently to the final minutes of the game. I can't quite remember what happened, I'm thinking either KK or TJ made some heroic play at the end of the game, because those MF'ers ending up winning the game!

Ain't that something? Who'd think the Bengals would pull a come from behind victory?

My second memory was that of this year's game with the Bengals and Chiefs. Man, that was the best sporting event I've ever attended. That particular game I was accompanied by my friend John, since he lived in Cincy, we were gonna hang out his house the night before and drink some beers, shoot pool, etc. I was determined to get on television for that game since it was so huge, so I borrowed my friend's Tigger outfit from school and took it to the game with me. I threw on my P-Dub jersey (Which I am absolutely convinced was good luck) and headed up to our seats. The atmosphere for that game was incredible, a total 180 from the Steeler's game I had attended in the past. Hell, half the stadium was filled with those bastards, but at the Chiefs game, it was definitely the infamous 'jungle' that I had heard so much about. So anyway, the game started, and I'm clad in this Tigger outfit, which everyone loved, (I'm thinking about buying one myself if I ever get season tickets) PLUS it was extra warm and comfy. The only drawback was that I had to come completely out of the suit to go pee pee. <_< I remeber everyone holding their breaths everytime Dante Hall recieved the punt to return, then everyone cheering their asses off when he got shut down, particularly when he threw the ball in frustration. Priest couldn't get it going, and neither could Trent Green. Gonzo was true to form, scoring a TD and dunking it over the goalpost. (I always had an affinity for Gonzo) Halftime came, and for some reason, I had to go meet Who-Dey. Maybe it was because I felt like a mascot myself that day, I dunno. So I embarked on a wild goose chase trying to find his ass, and finally got his picture. But can you believe the bastard actually looked like he had s**t to do? He was cool though. So I came back for the second half, and that's when Peter really showed his ass. When he caught that bomb from Kitna, I went simultaneously deaf and hoarse, from me and the whole crowd going absolutely wild. What a great play. And what sealed the deal was when he returned that punt for a TD. We have P-Dub to thank (you too Rudi and Jeremi) for ruining the Chiefs hopes of being undefeated and making Chad sound like Cleo. It was just as much fun leaving the stadium as well, because when we got out there were kids playing drums on plastic bins and cars honking left and right, screaming "who-dey" all dey..........ah, memories.....

Those are my stories.....sorry it took so long, and I promise it will never happen again. I'm sure if I woulda submitted this post the same day, I'd have those tickets instead. (Procrastination is a bitch! )

Who Dey! :player:
