Jam,

You are so right about the hipocracy this country shows about nudity and sex. There is a thread on this topic in particular in General Discussions. Some people in this country think it's a bad thing. They say because of kids it shouldn't be shown. That's the very thing that fuels it's happening. The more they scream about it, and get their panties wadded up in a knot over it, the more it will happen because THAT'S THE REACTION THEY WERE HOPING FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!! HELLO!!!

And as far as my title, "Director of Trash Talkin'," it's nothing official, but you've seen my handiwork here and at Ravens Talk.com. I kinda regret some of the things I said there about some peoples sisters and mothers. Unless it's provoked, I'll be staying around here defending the fort, so to speak. And now that I know and like you Jam, I couldn't talk effective smack to you!

Yo man - you need to shut the f**k up. I don't give a f**k about you and sissy ass Canadian or European mother f**kers. You got that. I'll bitch-slap your ass back to the damn dark ages.

We don't need to take s**t from some bitch ass mother f**kers that we had to save from themselves - twice!! Europe gave us Nazism and Communism. It's the most evil continent on the face of the Earth. You think they're better than us cause they've got nude beaches? f**k you.

You think we're an empire? What the f**k public school system did you graduate from? Tell me one place that we've colonized in the past 50, 60, 70 years. Oh wait, you must be talking about The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, which became part of the United States in Nov. 1986. Or maybe you're talking about Alaska and Hawaii entering the Union in 1959.

Or maybe you don't know what the f**k you're talkin' about and should just shut the f**k up.

Way to stand up Boobie.

I never said Europe was "better than us", and now you are God judging the most evil continents???

I graduated from the Maryland Public School System and have you ever heard of the term "neo-colonialism"???

Unless you have, we can't carry on this conversation, I have lived near and worked down the street from the white house for the past 3 years and I was in DC on 9/11. I saw the F-16s flying over my head...

Dont come at me like I don't know what it means to be an American, and to come down to your level, for the record Im proud to be a mother f***ing American, I know that a ta-ta on superbowl sunday is not the end of the free world. Most Americans INCLUDING YOU, need to LIGHTEN UP about the superbowl halftime!

I know exactly what neo-colonialism is, and while it would be difficult to argue that we don't influence others through economic and political means, we certainly don't do it through language or culture. Come live in the Southwest and then tell me we're pushing language and culture. You said empire and this is not empire building.

See, what's really going on is that you are practicing cultural colonialism, which emasculates a nation through its education system as well as other aspects of cultural life, including art, theater, cinema and television.

You did say that we need to take a hint from Europe and I'm telling you to f**k yourself. I'm not God, but I can pass judgment because I'm an intelligent, thinking person and I know wrong when I see it. I'm not some spineless p***y. And if you can't pass judgment on Nazism or Communism, then you my friend are a Frenchman, which is no different than being a p***y.

Just so you can get that "I'm much cooler and sophisticated" stick out of your ass, I happen to be putting together an Internet Porn empire. No, that's not a typo. I'm a smut peddler. Still think I need to lighten up? Maybe after you remove that stick you can come buy a pocket p***y from my website.

I never said one word about the Super Bowl. My problem with you is your anti-American p***y-ass bull s**t.

And I don't give a good god-damn about F-16s over your house. You want to swing your meat around? Wrap your hands around this: I live near Luke Air Force Base and they're over my house as I type this. I live near Palo Verde nuclear power plant, which is constantly under threat. I worked on the flight deck of the USS Nimitz and USS Belleau Wood. I've put my life on the line against the Soviets. I've defended your freedom of speech. I've defended your right to be a dumb ass. I've defended my right to tell you to go f**k yourself and I'm exercising that right.

Wow. Let me just inject a few points: While it is true the US military saved Europe's collective rear end twice, if you look back a little further, you would realize we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the French (That whole supporting the revolution thing). Now, I'm not the biggest fan of the french, but I'm also not gay enough to believe "freedom" fries isn't anything but an amazing overreaction. American sensibilities in regards to sexuality are a joke. As a potential porn baron, I can't believe you're not intelligent enough to sense the amazing schism in american moral sensibility. Part of us loves sex, and the other part feels guilty and repressed. We are still fighting the moral "standard" the puritans laid down, while trying to assimilate a modern, "evolved" sensibility about sexuality. The rest of the world does a nice job of picking one or the other. Some are very conservative and extremely repressed, and some, like Europeans, are very modern in their views. Jam's point, I assume, is that it would be nice if we were on the cutting edge of cultural evolution.

You know, it comes down to one thing. I'm sick of other countries laughing at us. I often hear the "I'm a veteran" clause brought up to win an argument, and while I don't negate the value of such a statement, I must ask: did you sacrifice so that we could be laughed at by the rest of western society? And don't say you don't care because you think they are joke. Despite any assertion to the contrary, those countries were creating "history" when nobody (save the native americans) knew there was even any land over here. You probably don't like me, but you must admit it irks you that I think you're ignorant and not very educated (or at least, not very well educated).

I'm going to step in here for a moment; first of all, I'm not sure how this got a little how of hand from a beer commercial to history in correlation to international politics -- this forum changes subjects faster than any I've ever seen.

Jam and Arizona -- keep in mind when you are having discussions about what you think of America, most guys that are either now or formerly in the military will take a hard nose stance on how great our country is -- which is a great country.

There is no perfect country and sure we have our issues and the past has been a little embarrassing at times comparatively to what we know now, but we've learned from these things and it just makes us that much stronger. Rome has it's problems in the same why we were made fun of; yet novice history remembers the Romans and their greatness while other tribes or empires of the time were but a lesson learned on the history channel.

While the French piss me off as much as anyone, Arizona is right, they did help us as much as we helped them. The French has culture integrated in America during the pre-independent time and its not changed much since then. They may not have always been our friends, but they've always been there for us (little militarialistically but mostly financially) as we for them when the times are the hardest -- these are not hard times as they were before.

I respect and honor veterans; I was once trying to get into the military out of high school but was rejected when I had major health issues.

I don't think neo-colonialism is a bad thing as long as the country pushing their cultures is of good intention; which if a claim is laid upon the States, then its a great thing. If a country uses NC like the Nazi's, then of course its horrible. But America doesn't use neo-colonialism as much as most would think, see Germany and Japan post WWII. You could make argument that Japans culture drastically changed after the fall of the empire, but they became influence of the western culture and not just America's; which I guess could be a form of NATOizination of non-direct cultural influence.

Well anyway, I hope that this subject doesn't create dissension among everyone; afterall this is a silly subject created by a Canadian beer commercial on a Bengals fan website.

1)  AMerica makes me sick sometimes, I blame it on the whole empire syndrome.....

2)  As a potential porn baron, I can't believe you're not intelligent enough to sense the amazing schism in american moral sensibility.

3)  You probably don't like me, but you must admit it irks you that I think you're ignorant and not very educated (or at least, not very well educated).

4)  I'm sick of other countries laughing at us. I often hear the "I'm a veteran" clause brought up to win an argument, and while I don't negate the value of such a statement, I must ask: did you sacrifice so that we could be laughed at by the rest of western society? Despite any assertion to the contrary, those countries were creating "history" when nobody (save the native americans) knew there was even any land over here.

Alright, one idiot’s point at a time:

1) This is the quote that started the whole thing. I don't have a problem with the commercial. You're like the Dixie Chicks - you want to run that gash on your face and then portray hurt feelings when someone calls you out.

2) I'm fully aware of the cultural divide in this country. I'm not selling porn on the church steps or at the school house. It's on the Internet, which is generally a subscription service and not free, national TV. It’s not even free porn, it’s a subscription service. I only brought up the porn issue to make the point that this wasn't about the commercial but about him trashing this country.

3) Is this supposed to be an insult? I don't like you because you're an a**h*** not because of what you think about me. I don't like you because punks like you are going to get people killed. Boy, you don't know s**t about what makes people despise this country. You ever been out of this country? Wait, let me guess – Mummy and Poppy paid for your college trip to France? You ever been to a third world country? You ever been to a Muslim country? If not, you need to spend less time on this site, less time listening to NPR and CNN and more time educating yourself.

4) The "veteran clause", huh? You are incapable of following an argument. Your friend brought up the F-16s over his house and said he knows what it is to be an American. He was trying to imply some special insight because he lives close to the site of the attack. He threw his meat on the table. I was just comparing size. I don't care if other countries laugh at us. We are the most charitable people to ever grace this planet. I served this country so US citizens can live freely. I don't care about Europe. Yes the French did help us gain independence, but they've been repaid many times over. Let's not forget that we (amongst others) saved the French in Vietnam. They colonized the place but couldn’t handle it, which seems typical for the French. They got out, we got f**ked. We saved their ass in both World Wars. For a people that had a thousand-year head start on us isn't it odd they're not any more advanced than a country that's been around only 225 years?

I couldn’t possibly care less about changing your mind. I’m not on a crusade. But, you start trashing this country and you’re going to get it back. You might be free to run that hole in your face, but that doesn’t mean you can do it with impunity.

Instead of being embarrassed by this country, you should be embarrassed by your own deficiencies.

This has got to be the best damn quote I think I've ever heard....

I'm with Boobie on this...I live in a foreign country, I see what people think of America. But I tell them how it really is...People hate America cause they see bullox on TV, either from tv shows or very biased news outlets....I can't count how many times I've had to explain things to clueless people that were flapping their jaws about how bad and evil America is...And they tend to go oh, really...didn't know that and then they turn around and shut the f**k up...

I don't think America needs naked women on free TV talking about sex...I don't want to hear profanity all the time on TV...Kids do watch this stuff...Have you seen how many little kids acting way too grown up? It ain't good! (For the record I work at a school for girls...I see it everyday) I've seen the effects of allowing profanity, nudity on TV, lax drinking laws, and "liberal" views on things...It's where America is heading if things don't change and it ain't a good place to go...

I went bowling with some of my buddies and there were a bunch of high school girls and I've never seen such an assortment of tramps before they could even drive. I'm thinking of moving to Montana so I can raise my kids in a controlled enviroment other than seeing what I see when I go out; I couldn't handle it personally. People in American back in the 50s and before were oppressed with everything as compared to today and there was absolutely nothing negative in their maturing process.

I guess I'm just conservative on that view and from the looks of it, in the minority too. But that's ok, I'm the one raising my kids.

BTW - this is where Liberalism (or progressive for the less left) is leading us:

NEW YORK - About 100 men in minis, midis and even tutus took to the streets of Manhattan to call for an end to the tyranny of trousers.

"We're not transvestites, homosexuals or cross-dressers," David Johnson told the New York Times for Sunday editions. "We don't want you to call us Jean or Sally. We're men. Men who want the right to wear a skirt."

Johnson, a retired teacher from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and the other pants opposers walked several blocks from the Guggenheim Museum to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where they visited an exhibit called "Bravehearts: Men in Skirts." Their presence attracted confused looks from a few fellow visitors.

Ingemar Johnsson, 39, came from Sweden to join the march Saturday. He told the Times that men in Europe often wore skirts and pantaloons until the time of the French Revolution, when pants became the expected masculine attire. Others pointed out that Scottish men have donned kilts for centuries.

"The male bird is always the pretty one, not the female," another participant, 27-year-old Chris Taylor, told the Times. "Why can't the male human being dress with style and color?"

Yeah, it's really sad...Nothing is more shocking than seeing a 9 year old act like a tramp....Have no worries K, I completely agree with you...Everyday I worry how my little girl is gonna turn out, I feel like it's me against the world with my daughter on the line..........

...disturbing new story snipped.......

I can top it. :P

Even further down the line you'll have things like "The Big Gay Out" where a bunch of homosexuals parade around and go look at me loudly!

Even better, you get things like the "Hero" Parade where a bunch of homosexuals run around town screaming look at me....

My first week in Auckland I'm down town going to a job interview and what do I see? A huge billboard for the damn thing....What a shock for this small town country boy! No sir, I don't like it....

Now I fully support gay men coming out. In fact I wish that number would climb even higher, because with every guy that goes "gay", that just takes one more guy outa competition with me for the women! My odds JUST WENT UP!!!:rolleyes:

Dude, this mens gay women too. LOL

Now wait, that gay women number needs to stabilize...UNLESS they are bi-sexual, and don't mind bringing their girlfriends over my house. Then I'm cool. I'm talkin' strictly about those "Man Haters", who have an ass bigger than yours, and own their own security company, and want to get into a hand strength contest with you shaking hands. Thats the ones that need to stay the same.

(Now I'll be the first one to return to this thread topic:) Not the ones depicted in the commercial. Yowza!! B)

kevnz- some people just don't get it.

Kirkendall - believe me, I'm with you. I've mentioned many times that I have a young son. He has no idea what I do. Is that hypocritical? Hey, whatever. I'm just a guy trying to make a buck. I'm not pushing it on anybody. I don't use spam. They have to come find me. They freely decide to buy what I market.

I tell my wife everyday that I want to move back home. She's from Omaha, which is probably even more conservative than Cincinnati. I can't stand raising my kid in this city. My regular job won't ever make it possible for us to get out of here. Starting an Internet porn business is only one of a couple different enterprises I've got going. The money I make from them will let me live my life on my terms.

It's a battle my conscience fights every day, but in the end, people have to make decisions for themselves - that goes for my customers.

BillyBroome - I haven't known you very long, but I definitley think there's something wrong with you!!:lol::lol:
