That was the year I joined the Army and remember sitting in Germany watching the World Series that year. Two things I really thought were cool/funny that Reds season regarding Browning. His perfect game was so dominant that he didn't get to three balls in the count against any batter he faced that day. If I remember correctly during the World Series his wife went into labor, he left, and the game went into extras. Piniella put out word to get him back, but he never came back and the Reds still won.
