The Cleveland Browns fired coach Eric Mangini on Monday following back-to-back 5-11 seasons, the team announced Monday.

NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reports that several league executives believe John Fox, coming off a nine-year stint with the Carolina Panthers, stands at the front of the line to replace Mangini. The Browns are also eyeing Jon Gruden as a potential replacement.

In some ways it surprising, in others not so much. Cleveland remains a revolving door for head coaches.

Holmgren has already said he's not a candidate for the Browns coaching job and that his job is to find the best HC for their team.

I believe him when he says that, but have no idea who would want to coach there anymore than here, so good luck...

Mangini ?? If it wasn't for him knowing someone, he would never have been a coach to begin with.
