Stay injury free- Emmitt Smith is one of the most realiable football players in NFL history. 2. Upgrade the o-line and offensive attack- Goff & Braham are proven backups at best and this needs to address via free-agency and the draft. Hopefully DiNapoli signs and we get a good 3 or 4 round g/c. B24 Posted April 12, 2003 Report Share Posted April 12, 2003 Corey's going to have to start picking up the pace if he wants to catch Emmitt.In his first 7 seasons Emmitt had 10160 yards, Corey has 2640 less with 7520 yards.He could do it, but like Smoov513 said he better stay injury free and the offense had better get an upgrade. I think Corey's numbers would be better than those of Emmitt's during the same time frame.Corey has got a lot of his numbers behind a so-so line.
