schweinhart Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Adam Schlepper of the NFL Network reports that Hue Jackson is on the radar of Lions new coach Rod Marinelli for a staff position. The report did not specifically state that Jackson is under consideration for OC but did refer to the "spat" between Jackson and Chad. Maybe Hue is tired of Chad. With the Lions stable of WRs, no doubt they would like to get at the very least a position coach with a track record like Hue's. And maybe they'll pay him more than what he's getting now. Quote

bengalboomer7 Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 I wonder whether the Bengals will deny permission to speak to Hue? Quote
BengalsOwn Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 I heard he was the favorite to become their WR coach... Quote
Jet23 Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 I wonder whether the Bengals will deny permission to speak to Hue?That has always been their policy for lateral moves. But, that is easy to get around. If the Lions want him bad enough, they will just offer him the 'Assistant Head Coach' tag. Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Good for him, he has the expierence from Washington. He is an exceptional coach, and he could do wonders with the WR talent they have their. Hope he gets the job. Quote
