Whur CHad At? Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Pass on Triplett. The only reason he is having the season he is having is because of the presence of Simon. We don't have anybody that is anywhere near to the player Simon is, so he will prob. do bad here. We should def. make a move for Darren Howard or John Abraham though. Quote

andybren Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 kimovonohflen drinks his transvestite moms goo. Is that some kind of spanish putdown? That's his way of professing love for his new favorite team. You may recall that on Sunday Spain gave up rooting for the Bengals because they didn't end Rothlesburger's career/life. If you observed Spain's courtship with Pollack (aka "Waterboy") over the course of the past season, you'll realize that he begins with the most absurd, inane insults and after a few weeks admits that he was wrong and starts "eating crow" as he likes to call it. But the fun part is that he never drops the insulting nickname. So next year he'll be rooting for the Pittsburgh Goo-drinkers. Can't wait. Quote

schroomytunes Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 If we are to address anything in the Free Agent market here are the guys I would be going after in order:1)Ma"ake Kemoeatu- Big 6'5" 350lb DT(Ravens) who would plug the middle against the run. He recorded 40 tackles last year alone and is a big reason why the Ravens linebackers are so good.2)Aaron Kampman-Big 6'4" 278lb DE(Packers) massive force on the line, he had a superb season in GB despite their record recording 81 tackles and 6.5 sacks, he would provide much needed help on both the run and the pass.3)Kendrick Clancy-6'1" 305lb DT(Giants) he would fit in as the #2 tackle, he had a solid year in NY recording 37 tackles in his first season as a starter.-I think 2 of these guys can fit into our cap next year and we can still sign a couple of lineman to extentions(levi)and (steinbach). The thing I like about these guys is that their up and comers, all under 27yrs old and fill a need for us. This will enable us to draft in other ares of need S,TE,DT,OL. I would love to be able to sign archuleta or tank williams, but safties can be found in the draft at a much cheaper rate. This years draft is full of good safties and we should be able to land one in the 1st. Quote
