I know it's going to go to Dungy, but everyone expected the Colts to do well, as they were progressing rapidly the last few years. Of course, if they go undefeated, it goes to Dungy hands down.

You can make a case for a lot of guys but I agree that Tab's big return was the turning point, esp. with the way the O went cold in the second half.

Why do you think they went cold?

Because Brat gave them the opportunity to turn cold. There was no reason for Rudi not to have 35 carries. :bengal:

Tab Perry is running away with the game ball, but my vote went to Palmer. He's the guy who made those throws to Housh. He's the guy who ran the no-huddle to perfection. He's the guy who audibled into half of Rudi's runs. He's the guy who didn't blink when the Steelers took an early lead. He's the guy who led the surge that produced the lead, and then matched the Steelers point for point. He's the guy who had to play a big game or the Bengals would have no chance of winning. He's the guy who had to eliminate his mistakes and get the monkey off his back or the Bengals had no chance of winning.

To steal a line...he's the straw that stirs the drink.
