jjakq27 Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 In 2003 they lost five in a row on the way to a 6-10 record. So was last year a blip when they were 15-1? Or is 2003 more accurate indication how this team will end up? Also see below for 1999 and 2000 and see the similarities.http://www.jt-sw.com/football/pro/results.nsf/Teams/2003-pitIn 2000 they lost three in a row twice and finished 9-7.http://www.jt-sw.com/football/pro/results.nsf/Teams/2000-pitIn 1999 they also lost three in a row and then six in a row while finishing 6-10.http://www.jt-sw.com/football/pro/results.nsf/Teams/1999-pitIn 2001 they finished 13-3 but lost to New England in the AFC Championship game. I think that was the game that Drew Bledsoe played in because Brady was hurt.in 2002 they were 10-5-1 and lost to Tennessee in the Divisional round of the playoffs after surviving Cleveland in the wild card game 36-33.
