walzav29 Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 Do you think that we don't have the horses or is it that we don't have the experience to pull it out a stellar defense this year? Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 First of all, I think there's about three other threads on thisSecondly, i'd say it's probably a combo of that and more. Young defense, some bad players, marvin trying to keep it simple. Quote
jditty47 Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 the only problem i really see with the D at this time is we need 1 more major DT...and a safety. that is all. Quote

buck3y3d Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 the only problem i really see with the D at this time is we need 1 more major DT...and a safety. that is all.No personel. The corners bite on the play fakes (after 20 interceptions it looked like Peyton knew exactly how to handle them). The good players are all young. The Scheme for this defense is not that great. I think we have the personel to run a 3-4, but we run a 4-3 most of the time. I liked Leslie Frasier, and I don't really see how Bresnehan is any better. This is as good as the defense gets this year. That being said, I could see us winning a playoff game as long as we don't travel to Indy or Denver. Indy has homefield locked up so that won't be a problem, but Denver still could play us. Quote
