ahanes
Ohalete sucks bigtime. I apologize to Kevin Kaesviharn for bashing him last week...at least he has the balls to try and tackle someone. Ohalete tries to strip the ball and lets Wayne run 10 more yards for a touchdown and Dallas Clark run 50 more yards down to the goalline. On top of all that, he gets a huge personal foul call on the punt, and was offsides after the Bengals had stopped the Colts on the first drive of the game. If not for so many injuries, his ass would be cut today. There's a reason why a s**ttyass team like Arizona released him and now we're seeing why. Pathetic.*

ahanes
walshfan: LOL...I just noticed that on the Sportscenter highlights. I was at the game and didn't know who the guy was that was in Ratliff's way, but of course, it had to be Ohalete. I hope to God the Bengals never pick up a player that the Arizona Cardinals waive again. If you ain't good enough for them, you ain't good enough for any NFL team.*

The_Next_Big_Thing
Ahem.Quick, lets not give this guy even a full season to learn the system. He's got to go. Just like Chris Perry had to go.

Just like Chris Perry had to go.I didn't realize "how to tackle" was part of the system. But that's okay, because it's not like anybody really uses their tight ends to catch passes. schweinhart
Ohalete played a fine game today. He was there on coverage vs, Heap but just didn't make a play on the ball, kinda like B-Sims on Heap's 2nd TD or Tory James getting scorched by Derrick Mason for a TD.The thing I like the most about Ohalete is that he hits extremely hard when he makes contact. Don't always make the tackle -- definitely not a form tackler -- but when he brings it, it's brought for better or worse.
Whur CHad At?
Random Flash Back: Remember during the Packers game, Ohalete and i think it was Landon Johnson both were blitzing and both got taken out by Tony Fisher!?!!?!?!? Tony Fisher just laid down and Ohalete and Johnson both got blown up. Terrible.
schweinhart
What was worst in the Packers game by Ohalete was how badly he got beat by their TE Donald Lee down the sideline on a deep ball. If Lee doesn't try to catch the ball with his facemask, that game could have turned out differently. That and the pass interference call near the end of the game before the 12th man showed up on the field. Ohalete was there in the seam but he's got to play the ball quicker in that situation to avoid the call.I think that game more than any showed Ohalete is not going to be the player they want at the postion when it comes to man or help coverage that requires him to change direction and run downfield. He's just not quick enough reversing direction and getting into a sprint. The odds are stacked against him making the team next year w/ Madieu back and if Herring remains in the mix. Even less likely if the Bengals pick a safety in the 1st day of the draft. But if it came down to Ohalete or Mitchell at league minimum, though, I'd rather see them sign Ohalete as the 4th safety because there can be a situational advantage to putting him in the box to play the run...providing he stops whiffing on cutback runners.
