Helmets Off: Your Hero's Hero is the fifth of six monthly PLAYERS INC television specials giving fans an inside look at life as an NFL player.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- PLAYERS INC, the licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association, is partnering with Electronic Arts and Reebok to present "Helmets Off: Your Hero's Hero," the fifth of six monthly television specials created and produced by PLAYERS INC. Featuring eight of the NFL's biggest names, past and present, the half-hour show will air on FSN throughout the month of November.

This month's installment unites for the first time ever current NFL stars with their childhood NFL heroes. Meetings include: Chad Johnson (Cincinnati Bengals) and Mark Duper (Miami Dolphins); LaDainian Tomlinson (San Diego Chargers) and Barry Sanders (Detroit Lions); Deuce McAllister (New Orleans Saints) and Roger Craig (San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Raiders, Minnesota Vikings); and Bertrand Berry (Arizona Cardinals) and David "Deacon" Jones (Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins). The Helmets Off cameras were there to capture the moment as the players exchanged personal stories and views on the game.

Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson, a native of Miami Beach, grew up admiring the skills of former Dolphins receiver Mark Duper. The two players caught up with each other in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. when Johnson was in town for the NFL Quarterback Challenge and Duper was participating in a golf tournament.

Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson got to know his childhood hero, former Lions running back Barry Sanders, over a round of golf at the Four Seasons Aviara Golf Course in Carlsbad, Calif. The pair grabbed their clubs and discussed everything from Barry's days in a Lions uniform to their individual workout regimens.

Before Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, Saints running back Deuce McAllister spent a day fishing with his hero, 49ers great Roger Craig, off the coast of New Orleans. When the fish weren't biting, the two conversed about what it takes to be a successful running back in the NFL.

Cardinals defensive end Bertrand Berry welcomed his childhood hero, Hall of Famer Deacon Jones, to his home in Arizona. While playing billiards, the two chatted about various topics including Deacon's role as the original quarterback sack specialist and his playing days in the NFL.
