Could Someone find out

I was thinking about Palmer and how terrible it woulod be one day if we were dumb enough to trade him like we did Esiason. Could someone give me the beef on QBs like Marino, Elway, Favre etc.. and whether or not they were on the same team for a long time. I know Vick has been and Manning and Brady, so I'm hoping we would be the next team to have a guy start and endhis career in cincinnati, but I was just wondering!

Thanks!

WOW, don't worry yourself needlessly! I do know Farve started out with the Atlanta Falcons. Don't forget even though we did let Boomer go, we did get him back. Bengals wanted to keep him but he had his chance at Monday Night Football, and Mike Brown let him out of his contract for that opportunity. Mike Brown LOVES great QB's. Don't worry about Palmer, he will be around for a long time!

Marino played all of his 17 seasons with the Dolphins.

Elway was drafted by the Colts, and traded to the Broncos on draft day for Chris Hinton

The Class of 1983 had 6 QBs drafted in the first round. Some bombed, like Todd Blackledge, but Dan Marino and John Elway set the standard.

My bad guys, definently chilled out and enjoying this all. I was confident that he'd be here FOREVER! Just a question I forgot to ask in the offseason. I know that it's usually QBs that stay with a team longer than almost any position which is why they say "Franchise QB so much."

Just thinking, maybe I'm bored cause I'm so confident in my team right now!

Palmer is here for the long run. His laid-back, nonassuming personality is a perfect fit for this town and the Bengals will break the bank for him when the time comes. I also believe that the Bengals will pay Chad Johnson what he wants in order to keep him around. It's scary to think how good this team could be over the next 5 years or so.*
