bengalfreek Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 That interception in the end zone can't happen period. Take the freakin' sack if you have to or drill it into the stands. The rest of his performance I can live with. Through 95% of the game, he looked like the next Peyton Manning. Quote
Bobcat Bengal Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Wow.I would hate to see some people on this board if they would have LOST. Just wait. It's coming. You see the Jekyll-and-Hyde come out of people, and a lot of regular posters.I guarantee it. Quote
semiotter Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 OMG a QB rating of 107 i said 1 0 7!!! We win, look good and people still bitch. What a deal!!! Quote
MacD BengalFan Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Fumble. Not the worst fumble of the weekend (See Justin Zwick).I saw Zwick. I cried after seeing Zwick. I cry still. My heart sank. I was just hoping that a penalty or something would happen to change the call. I am still depressed. Quote

Some of us will have Carson riding the bench as the emergancy QB for the rest of the season and then declare it over. Quote
benglsdrumr Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 After seeing how the browns did on their first series, i was a bit on edge and kinda worrying what would happen with our offense. Carson laid my worries to rest with his poise in the pocket (even in the face of a blitz) and his accurate passing (xcept for a couple of under thrown balls and that INT-wont make the same mistake twice) The play that impressed me a lot was when Carson leaned forward passed a couple of lineman to get the pass out (forgot to who..probably tj) and it was completed. It reminded me of when we played the Pats and brady fell on his ass and completed a pass anyway. Wasn't as weird as brady's play but nonetheless, im still impressed. Quote
Jonboat Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 To me the only mistake I'd put on him is the int. in the endzone, the other one the receiver fell down. I'm sure ML will point that out to him & hopefully he'll be smarter the next time he's in that situation. What kind of stood out to me though is I seen him several times look off the receivers which shows me he's maturing & getting comfortable , of course, it didn't hurt he had all day to throw most of the game!! Hell after all the preseason worries of Palmer looking terrible, Rec dropping balls, I know I feel much better!! Quote
jamesbrooks21 Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Wow.I would hate to see some people on this board if they would have LOST. No kidding. I look at it the other way. The Clowns were the lucky SOBs. The fumble and pick prevented it from being 41-13. I mean seriously, Carson played great and it was the first game of the season.............get off his bizzallz. :player: Quote
