Where do you think Warrick will go

I see him going home and not playing in the NFL again. If he was able to pass the health inspection to go somewhere else, he'd be playing for Marvin Lewis.

I think he was healthy enought to pass the physical but doesnt have the acceleration or cutback moves he once had....

I dont know if they're thinking trade or just cut him but I dont see them playing him against Philly and risking an injury where'd they have to pay his contract out.

I gotta agree with this. If he could play for Pitt, he would be on our starting roster.

Hope he invested wisely.. :(

That doesn't quite reason. First, the Bengals receivers are a helluavalot better than the Steelers corps. Second, I believe if the Bengals cut him, other teams can sign him for whatever the minimum is for a guy with his experience. I'm pretty sure some team will take a chance on him with an incentive-laden contract. If he is cut from the Bengals, Warrick will end up on another team.

To be signed to another team, he would have to pass a physical. If Marvin Lewis isn't using him, it's because he CANT PHYSICALLY PLAY.

The only other answer is that Marvin thinks he's fine, and is planning on him being the #2 WR and is just trying to keep Cleveland guessing....

if he is injured enough to get cut , it could be here or nowhere...til next year, then he may get picked up at league minimum...

because no one will want to pick up the contract on the injured player...

if he goes somewhere else he will have to renegotiate his contract...

He passed a physical here, in case you forgot. He's been cleared to play by the medical staff or I guarantee you he'd still be on the PUP list. That's where the Bengals wanted to hide him, but I've a feeling they feared he might file a grievance.

He CAN physically play. Marvin isn't playing him because he isn't worth 2.2 million, they want to get rid of him, but they don't want him going to the Steelers or getting hurt and being forced to pay him. The problem with that is that, to prevent him from going to the Steelers, they'd need to trade him, which would require that team to either take on his salary or convince him to take a pay cut. It also requires the Bengals to give him some PT to increase his trade status.

This situation is fairly complicated, but I'm pretty sure his hamstring isn't bad enough to cause him to blow a physical, and his injury from last year has been cleared.

He may have been cleared by the medical staff, yes, but I think Marvin and co. aren't clearing him because I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, that if he gets cut and wasn't cleared, then they don't have to pay him the full 2.2? I'm not sure about this, but I have an underlying feeling that something of this sort is occurring, and it's not just that he's incapable of playing.

And stop talking about where he's gonna go, he's still a Bengal.

If he is cut he is subject to the selection order from last years record, I believe. That means teams on the bottom get first shot. He could go to:

Tampa Bay

Miami

Cleveland

Dallas

SF

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Nah thats only if hes put on waivers, if hes put on waivers the team that claims him would have to take his full contract from us i believe, all 2.2M, or something like that. He would just be cut. Waivers are mainly for rookies and scrubs.
