Bengals on Madden 06

This passing game is tough. I played agains the Redskins in the 2nd preseason game. Didn't have any picks, but then I didn't have that many completions either. My run game is coming along. My def looks better the the off.

Just press the dive button (square) as your entering the endzone. They don't always flip, sometimes they do something else. I don't know if theres a button to always make him flip, but he usually flips for me.

It's also nice to see that you get a full minute now when you call a timeout.

I just wish they would get the uniforms right.

actually i did have a question as well. Last years game you could just press the l2 button to scramble but this year when you press it you just throw the bally away does anyone have any tips to get a qb to run.

Also isnt palmer a little underated in this game? I know 18 td and 18 interceptions arent so great but honestl an 84? and not to mention competing with kitna hmmmmm

I haven't figured that out either. My run game is the bomb, but the passing game is hurting. Has anybody figured out how to block an extra point?

I think kick blocking is out of the question. They just kick it too fast. Also damn Al Michaels and his "Houshmanza". But at least he attempts it, not like after 2 years and still cant say Bramlet.

I've only ever seen an extra point blocked once, and it was my friend that did it to me, not the CPU. I still don't know how he did it, and neither does he.

back to what i was saying some players are very underrated. you have madieu who had over 100 tackles 2 sacks and 3 picks or something like that and make him an 86? and of course palmer an 84. then the icon thing is just as retarted we have one player thats an icon when rudi has his own cameo thing at the beginning of the game.

Just a couple random postings:

1. This is the first year that I have liked the gameplay of NCAA better than Madden (on the XBOX)

2. Landon Johnson and Madieu Williams both go up to 90+ if you sim a few years

3. I think the Superstar thingy is a good idea (not as good as the Race for the Heisman), but it's a little hokey too

4. I had to turn off the passing cones to keep my QB off his butt, but I was kinda used to the controller setting because of NCAA

5. I am still waiting for a feature that allows you to create an expansion team. I like to create a cupcake team and build it up through free agency and the draft

I seem to finally be getting it down now...besides the flip into the endzone...has anyone else discovered ways of jumping into the stands or doing any other type of endzone dances?

I threw a TD to Chad and he jumped into the stands on his own. No idea how to do it though.

I love how they mispronounce Houshmandzadeh's name in the game. You would think they could say it right by now.
