rizzy
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-b...ov=ap&type=lgnsClarett is going to end up getting cut. He gets what he deserves. At first I thought Denver might get lucky with him and he would end up great, but I don't see it happening now. He can't take the hits. Who?
Ahh, he'll be ok, the man can play football. He definitely has balls for taking basically an all incentive laden contract.

No I think you call that bad advice from Jim Brown.
ArmyBengal
I to thought he might be decent for the Broncos, but must say if he ends up broke, he will be getting what he deserves. I still think he's a little bitch...WHODEY !!!
Kirkendall
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-b...ov=ap&type=lgnsClarett is going to end up getting cut. He gets what he deserves. At first I thought Denver might get lucky with him and he would end up great, but I don't see it happening now. He can't take the hits.I think he got what he deserved after 2 years of absolute crushing from the media and fans. He choose not to take a big guarentee contract, to prove himself -- as much as I hate to say it, being a BuckNUT!, I find a small level of respect for that. He wants to prove himself on the field, and I hope he does. Even though he left OSU the way he did, challenged a system fans love, and became the demon of football; I still remember his contributions on the 2002 Championship team and without him, it's questionable if we win or not. rizzy
Yeah I have respect for him for taking a contract like that and wanting to prove himself on the field, but it looks like he is crashing and burning. I am sure he is regretting it now.

He had all that time though to get the injury bug straightened out.
bengalboomer7
I never thought very much of that was Clarrett's fault, but he did get soem bad advice over the years and for him to decide not to protect himself and sign that contract is just stupid

By the way, leave Jimmy Brown out of this!
bengalboomer7
Why should Jim Brown get a free pass. I think Brown was the root of the problem to begin with. He turned Clarrett into the same "bitter black guy fighting the man" as he is
Who?
Well, first off, Jim Brown was an amazing player, maybe the best of all time. I don't think the man was the problem with Clarett.

I don't think the man was the problem with Clarett.Jim Brown was a great player. Does that make him a credible advisor?Pete Rose was a great player, but I'd never ask him for financial advice. But if how to hit singles was the topic, he'd be the first on my list.
rizzy
http://www.denverpost.com/sports/ci_2951144It is looking like Denver is starting to regret wasting a pick on Clarett. I hope he gets cut and never plays in the NFL. He is a waste of space.
The NES Advantage
Why should Jim Brown get a free pass. I think Brown was the root of the problem to begin with. He turned Clarrett into the same "bitter black guy fighting the man" as he is Yeah, that's cute. Jim Brown has some problems with the system so everyone he is associated with hates the man. I don't recall hearing Clarett say anything about "the man" and anyway, I've never heard Jim Brown say anything that didn't make sense. Trying to improve the lives of young blacks in America is an admirable thing for a millionaire pro football player to do. Get off his jock! bengalboomer7
YOu guys are blinded by the fact that Jim Brown is Jim Brown. No one remebers him parading all over television talking about how unfairly the NFL(the man, in this case) was treating Clarrett and parading all over the country on Clarrett's behalf. Yet, with all his "advice" he has nothing to do with Clarret being the asshat that he apparently is and gets to take ZERO responsibility for it. COme on. Sounds like to me that I'm not the one that needs to stop dangling from his jock
semiotter
Did anyone really think he would amount to much
