Bengal_Brad Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 Hey, I've read some negative things on this board regarding Chris Perry. I think, no.... I NO if he stays healthy he will have a great career with the Bengals. Do you realize that even when the teams sucked we have ALWAYS had a great running back. This is all due to Jim Anderson. You never hear much from him or about him, but if you look at the Bengals running backs they have always performed well!I don't wanna hear about KJ Carter (aka china doll). Look what the guy did with Dillon when KJ got hurt. Remember Harold Green? Excellent RB for Bengals and didn't do anything, anywhere else.So there is no need to worry about C. Perry as long as he's healthy and as long as Jim Anderson is there to coach him. Quote
andybren Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 Anderson is obviously a good coach, but nobody is perfect. You say don't mention Kijana Carter, but Carter is very much the exception that proves the rule. I'm optimistic about Chris Perry (I would very much like to see another James Brooks type in our backfield) but to guarantee success because Jim Anderson is around is just silly. Quote
