andybren Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 As I've said before, I think KDub is on borrowed time, but we'll shed a QB first. Probably Bramlet. Quote
Kazkal Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 I'll say craig because I rather have casey Quote
Spain Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 their going to make Casey sweet it out, KW is still young Warrik still is not healthy and going to be a FA next year, complete no brainer to me! Quote
jjakq27 Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 I'd say Kelley Washington but I also thought TJ was gone after the first preseason game last year. So what do I know. I think Bramlet might go also. I think Krenzel is bigger than Bramlet and I think the John Cooper-OSU connection is a factor also. Quote
jditty47 Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 great poll hmm...i have to think about it before i vote. Quote
MacD BengalFan Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 Casey Bramlet will be the first to go after the pre-season game against New England. I think they will keep P'DUB around until the end of pre-season to see if his health improves. If his health does not improve by then, he will get cut. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 I have to say Craig will be gone. Yes he has game time experience, but he didn't win those games, he just didn't lose them... (Barely) He was never the athletic QB at Ohio State, but was a great leader. Sort of reminds me of Kitna in ways. Kid is hella smart though... Molecular Genetics or some crap... Gotta love a brainiac playing some ball, kinda funny... Still think he's gone and they try to develop Bramlett. We will see though.WHODEY !!! Quote
WhoDeyHomer Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 I think Bramlett gets it, because he doesnt get it. Krenzel just has to not &*% up to win with this O. Washington can makte this team if he wants, he just has to do routine things like, continuing to run out the play and blocking downfield even if it might not matter, because a few times he wasnt and it has. Quote
turnip Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 I certainly hope we don't cut Bramlet, considering his arm strength and good NFLE campaign. Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 An injured Warrick that has only one year left with the team before free agency makes the most sense to me. Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 Are we talking about the first guy from the list or the first guy overall. Overall, it'll be some guy like Elton Patterson or Jamal Broussard, or some other lesser known player. On that list I'll go with the squirrell Quote
Who? Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 I'm saying Kelley Washington. Craig Krenzel? Come on, the kids a winner and I don't even watch Ohio State. He did extremely good for a rookie last year being forced into action. Quote

Who? Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 Haha we are talking about the Chicago Bears here Kazzy! Big Ben I'm sure had much fun handing the ball off constantly to that tub of lard they call Jerome Bettis. Quote
AMC Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 Haha we are talking about the Chicago Bears here Kazzy! Big Ben I'm sure had much fun handing the ball off constantly to that tub of lard they call Jerome Bettis. the same bettis that hines ward wants to marry.... first cut will be the O-linemen they picked up recently as well as some of the extra fullbacks, Eastlick, etc... The Big Orange Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 I voted Kelly (Barbie's little sister)...it's bad when the 2 best things he does, IMHO, is the 1st down show boating and the rookie diary on bengals.com a couple years ago.I'm just not impressed with this guy. He had every opprotunity to really shine without a real #2 last year, and we see what he did with it...another mediocre year. I think he's hit his ceiling and a couple of years ago that may have been good enough for us...not anymore.I know Chris Perry won't get cut this year, but he's got injury bust written all over him. I don't blame Marvin because I don't think it was forseeable, but I think the fans had it right on this draft pick. Quote
KiLBurn Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 Warrick will be cut 2 days after he actually plays in a preseason game... The knee will blow up like a balloon and his season/career is over. Krenzel or Bramlett will be moved to practice squad. Washington sticks because PDub doesn't. Quote
Kazkal Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 I'd like to see Kdub get atleast 1 more year sense number 3 seems to be the big year for wideouts Quote

The_Next_Big_Thing Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 Pdub is gone, it's just a matter of time. Quote
schweinhart Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 After reading Hobson's doom and gloom report about P-Dub and all-hail-the praises of an inspired K-Dub story, it's gonna be P-Dub.Besides, it just makes sense:1. Stacked at WR already.2. P-Dub relies on cuts and stops. How can he return to the level he was at quickness wise after his injuries.3. Still not medically cleared anyway.4. Has enough salary due to just about extend Levi w/ Jonas Jennings money.Having said that, I hope I'm wrong. No one deserves the benefit of all doubt more than P-Dub after what he did at the end of 2003.As for 3rd string QB, six of Bramlett or a half dozen Krenzel. Whatever. Quote
