Kirkendall
It's just you Actually, they have been OK since the break. Heck ya they've been ok. The past month, six relief pitchers have ERAs of 3 or less. Standridge and Shackelford are below 1 !!!

Thanks Kirkendall....I thought maybe I was crazy!!!!!I see things coming around for the Reds....as always need to solidify starting pitching....Claussen and Ortiz seem to be coming around, with Harang eating up major innings...Bring up Germano and see what he can do! Kirkendall
Well we can all agree that Harang has pitched like an ace. That Paul Wilson's injury distorts any belief he may be a bad pitcher (at least for now). That Ramon Ortiz has one bad inning, but the rest he shows lights out stuff (I think he's loses his cool at times). That Brandon Claussen potential is still good (he's on and off) but needs refining. Hey let's give Milton credit too. He went 7 innings, gave up zero runs, and only 4 hits.
CBin2k7
I was at the game today and Adam Dunn hit an absolutely monster home run. It is not easy to hit homeruns at Petco Park. The Reds dominated the Padres for 3 games. Good pitching, good hitting. The Padres could do nothing with Milton. How good is the Randa trade looking so far. Randa looks like he is coming back to his career numbers.
jditty47
exactly. that was the greatest dump of a player in recent history - randa that is.

Amazingly I have seen him pitch 3 great games in San Diego. He loves pitching in his hometown. With a little more run support he would be much better than 7-9.Claussen will continue to get better. Hudson is a good pitcher who needs better control. I was listening to the Padres radio network the other night and they noticed that Hudson is so much better out of the stretch than he is when people are on base. His walks usually come with people on base.
AMC
hey CB was in San Diego a few months ago...went to el soledad park...hit a great irish pub and restaurant, the Field...can't wait to get back out there....BTW, nice location for PETCO Park! Right by the Gaslight!
CBin2k7
Yeah what could have been for the Reds at Broadway Commons. Look no further than San Diego. Before the stadium was way out in the Mission Valley area, and that part of town is popular but its not exactly the Gaslamp district. Petco is a great place to watch a game on a Saturday Night and then walk right up the street to one of I think a million pubs.
