walzav29
They have got to have a fast start. I will tell you what. There is so much pressure on this season it is going to be crazy. If they have the same poor start, then it will be back to the whole doomsday talk. Even if they lose week 1, we will all be having nervous breakdowns. With that favorable schedule they should be 4-2 after 6. 3-3 at the worst. 2-4 would be a disaster. That's alot of pressure for a team that's best record the last 14 years has been 8-8. I say 5-1. True.Teams that handle pressure have winning records and make the playoffs. If the players get rattled because of how many season tickets are being bought then they don't deserve to even be on the team.I think Marvin has them ready this year. No question.Cleveland is going down hard week one.

With that favorable schedule they should be 4-2 after 6. 3-3 at the worst. 2-4 would be a disaster. Are we looking at the same schedule?Game 1: Away Game vs. Cleveland. Yes, Cleveland is the bottom of the division barrel. However, they ALWAYS play well against us when we go to Cleveland. It's a big time rivalry, and you can't take it for granted.Game 2: Home vs. Minnesota. This is going to be a damned tough game. Minnesota may have lost Randy the mouth Moss, but they got a WR in the draft who should be able to fill in for Burleson, and Burleson will be able to fill Randy's shoes. He's a great receiver. We are also talking about a team that improved it's defense in the off season. This is going to be a tight, tough game.Game 3: Away Game vs. Chicago. Rex Grossman is reportedly doing quite well so far, and will be back in shape and ready to rock. He's good enough to play. The Chicago defense is tough, and will have all their injured players back. They have a power running game and match up well against us in Soldier Field.Game 4: Home vs. Houston. We should be able to win this, but Houston is a rising team too.Game 5: at Jacksonville. Once again, we SHOULD be able to win this, but Jacksonville is at home, and has a good defense.Game 6: at Tennessee. Of the 4 games we have played in Tennessee, 3 were decided in the last minute of the game. McNair appears to be playing one more year, and even if he's down, Volek is a good QB. We SHOULD be able to win this too.I see 2 wins against Tennessee, and Jacksonville. I see a home opener that is going to be one of our toughest games all season. I see two games that we should win, but could easily turn into losses against Chicago and Houston. I see an opening game vs. Cleveland that could shock us, simply by nature of rivalry. To say this is a "favorable schedule" is a bit premature. ITS f**kIN SIMPLE. do you not remember last year? s**t.------------------------>NO EXCUSES<---------------------------
