While we're on the subject of potential Hall of Famers, I'm wondering what you guys think of Kevin Mawae's chances. He has been either the best or 2nd best center in the league for the better part of the last 11 years and is still at the top of his game. He will be the Center in front a 15,000 yd career RB and IMO is the key to that Jets O-line (a line that has been top 5 or 6 in the league for a while). Has been to he Playoffs 4 times and Pro Bowl 6 or 7 times. Also a key stat is that he has a streak of 173 consecutive starts. Thats pretty impressive for an O-linemen and the type of thing the Hall likes.

O-linemen generally don't get the star power/recognition but given how many O-linemen have made it from the 70s and 80s era, you have to assume there will be at least a few that go from this generation. If so, I think Mawae has a pretty strong case. Consistency is a key and I believe he has had it. Curious what you guys think.
