AMC
Seeing the NFL.com Kirwan article brought to mind that the Bengals, IMO, have the best backup QB in the league. What teams could Kitna start for right now seeing other teams QB situations? The Bengals would be wise to extend Kitna's contract past this year. He is important in the locker room and the community and is a great backup.
ArmyBengal
I love the fact that Kitna is our backup. Key word to that sentence is "backup".Sooner or later the question has to come up in regards to how much do you pay a backup ??WHODEY !!! CTBengalsFan
I'd take Volek over Kitna
CBin2k7
Volek is very streaky and can be very good.
bengal4life
I agree with CT Volek did pretty well for the Titans last year. And I think he has only been in the league for 2 years. He will probably be McNair's replacement after he retires.
CBin2k7
I think we have our backup of the future and his name is Casey Bramlet. He looked good in NFLE until his WR got hurt
walkthechalk
Volek's a beast.
BengalNation1281
Volek is indeed a stud, and should have been the starter for the Titans going into the 2005 season, but I guess when you are an oft-injured, sullen ass you get whatever you want (who ever could I be talking about? )I still say that Kitna is the best backup in the league. Teams that he could start for:San FranciscoArizonaMiamiOaklandWashingtonDallasDetroit (I still think Harrington will come through this year)
DesperateDerelict
There are some others out there => Brees - Rivers comes to mind in San Diego.
