Spain Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 Hey do you guys think we could see Davey as an H back on the goal line like the Pats do with Vrabel? Davey played H back before and as belichick says "Ill play my athletes where i want too". Yes this is Marvin and we havent seen this from him before. However we have never had a david pollak before. LABengalsFan09 Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 Davey on O?!?!?!?!?!?I thought you were talking about Rohan on Oprah today, my bad. I don't know where to go from here... Quote

bengal4life Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 I think he means David Pollack, Spain has too many thoughts running through his head. Spain Davey won't be any kind of H-back he is too valuable on D, ML won't take the chance of hurting his soon to be best linebacker. Spain your Quote
ArmyBengal Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 Davey? who the hell is that? Was thinking the same thing, but now I've got it.Oh yeah, whatever...WHODEY !!! Quote

The pats also used troy brown as a cornerback.I can see it now...Kelly Washington, the next NFL shut-down corner. Quote
Spain Posted July 5, 2005 Author Report Posted July 5, 2005 So Ill take that as a no. I was wondering because i watch the pats alot as all their games are broadcast here. So this iis really just a belichick thing. Quote
Kazkal Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 I woulden't mind them using pollack as a FB on 1st and 1 on the goalline agaist the browns or titans where hes safe Quote
thefrazz Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 Hmm....I think drug tests before posting may be in order...LOL, I'm teasing, RELAX! Quote
Spain Posted July 5, 2005 Author Report Posted July 5, 2005 Dont worry birds came and ate all my freakin plants. the Bastards didnt leave anything. Its been a hard day. Quote
Ickey44 Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 I'm sure Pollack's got enough going trying to learn a new position. Maybe when he's got the linebacker thing down pat, then he can learn a little fullback. Quote
Kazkal Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 Hmm....I think drug tests before posting may be in order...LOL, I'm teasing, RELAX! we'd lose 80% of the board. Quote

Maybe when he's got the linebacker thing down pat, then he can learn a little fullback. Agreed. The idea may be interesting to think about, but we're talking about moving Pollack into the obscure H-back role that Matt Schobel has frequently lined up at for a couple of seasons now...yet to my knowledge has never once resulted in him getting a rushing attempt or a pass thrown his way. If he doesn't know that, he isn't doing us much good. Quote
Spain Posted July 5, 2005 Author Report Posted July 5, 2005 Its all desire on the goal line and thats what this boy has. so why not try him he has to be alot faster losing those pounds. He also might serve as a distraction at first. Then when teams think he is a distraction give him the ballIMHO. Quote
