Ickeyshuffler Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 Ok, forgive me if this has been covered on another thread, but I wanted to ask if anyone has info regarding whether Roberts, Myles, or both have actually spent their practice time at safety? I'm hoping for myles, and people seem to have some pretty detailed info on practice happenings so who's lining up back there during drills? Quote
Rimington over Marino Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 Have not seen anything about Myles or Roberts @ safety. Have heard good things about Anthony Mitchell as backup SS. I hear Marvin loves him. He was in Washington with Marvin. Quote
Kazkal Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 If I'm not mistaken our #1 strong safety atm is Kim Herring, Quote
Spain Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 I think in the article by hobson that Mitchel seems to be ahead. It may be time for us find a lil bit about this guy. Marvin seems to like him alot and he might be our starting SS. Quote
The Big Orange Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 Mitchel was playing with our #2's at camp, but I felt like he and Keiwan were more impressive than Kim and Tory. You have a hard time throwing over Tory, but he gives way too much space inside. Mitchel was just playing with pure fire, where Kim was a lot more...been here, done that. Madeiu was a lock at FS but was limited in drills since his wrist was hurtDeltha was the most impressive of the group Quote
jjakq27 Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 KK got a lot of reps with the first group on Saturday. Quote
The Big Orange Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 I love Myles, too. If KK could get a little better on run defense, I really like him. I know that's not a popular stand on this forum, but i thinks he's very smart playing doing the best with what he has. Pehaps with better LB's he'll improve, too. Quote
IckeyShuffle Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 KK is solid but not spectacular. Can't rely on him as a starter, but as a nickel and dime guy he's all that we could want. He doesn't help in the run, but at the same time makes some heady plays that are rarely noticed. You always know what your going to get from him. Quote
jditty47 Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 exactly. kk i dont mind, but i would rather not have to see him on the field if i had to. Quote
