The_Next_Big_Thing
There is talk that the most competitive position so far has been Cornerback this year. Old Pro Bowlers Deltha O'Neal and Tory James are being pushed by guys like Keiwan Ratliff and the relatively unknown Brandon Williams. Williams has been running sub 4.3 40s, and impressed Marvin on the practice squad last year.So far, O'Neal and James are at the top of the depth chart, but we could see one of them become the 3rd guy by the end of the pre-season. CJBestInAFC
Throw in Rashaad Bauman to your list. I think he could definately push for the third cb position. Greg Brooks I have heard has also been impressive in minicamp. Don't rule out this guy, he was 2nd in interceptions at Southern Miss. only behind Patrick Surtan who turned out to be a very good cb in the NFL. Nah. Unless someone gets hurt, I'll bet it's O'Neal and James to start. Ratliff maybe if O'Neal gets hurt. But no one else will start at cornerback by game #1. walshfan
Id llike to see a player profile on Williams.. Speed he has but what about instincts, awareness and smarts?? Ratliff may not be the fastest corner but he has the beforementioned and thats why he's valuable.
