chrishcovga
Nice Mock Brian, If it happened this way I would be a bit dissapointed that Rogers, or James weren't the pick though. I think James will be the impact player on defense this year, and Rogers is the best overall cornerback in the draft in my eyes. Rolle has good speed and size, but doesn't make a lot of plays on the ball, and there were questions as to whether or not he is more of a safety playing corner rather than vice versa. Adam Jones lacks height, and gambles a lot. I think he's rated higher because teams " want " him to be a return threat like DeAngelo Hall was last year, even though Dunta Robinson had the better overall skills. Rogers has great speed, size, is a sure tackler, and makes a lot of plays on the ball. 40 + pass defenses over the last 3 seasons, and was by far the most consistent cornerback over the last 2. schweinhart
That is a solid mock. But I got doubts that Demarcus Ware will get picked as an OLB or DE in a 4-3. Plus, despite the hype machine on him and the fact that he is extremely quick off the snap, I still believe he's a 2nd round talent. Also, Shaun Cody to me is a 3-4 DE and Matt Roth is a 4-3 DE.
