David Terrell?

Recommended Posts

David Terrell(dagger)] Michigan, 6-3, 213, 4.43(*)

Faster version of Michael Irvin. Big, physical receiver who is the complete package. Knows how to get open. Good route runner. Shows soft hands. Gets yards after the catch. Comes through in big games. Some question his speed, and there is some concern over a minor stress fracture in his foot, but he played with it last year.

that was the run on him at the combine from 2001....he was the 1st overall wr chosen the year chad was chosen.

Anyways he;s a free agent and has performed with lackluster #'s, but he had some speed and size, that i think would be a great option to sign for a decent price, and is worth a look and who knows... maybe he will learn a thing or 2 from the real #1 wr that year. :)

If the price is tight, I say go for it with Terrell, though I would rather have Burress. However, I think Mr. Burress will wind up as a Viking when all is said and done.

I don't care for Plastico. He should be a Moss-type of player with his height and jumping ability but he doesn't have the right mind-set for me. I think he is soft.

I wouldn't mind seeing Terrell in stripes, as long as they don't pay him too much. Chicago didn't have any real stability in the QB situation the entire time that Terrell was there, so I think that he would put up good numbers with a solid WR corps around him and a good QB to throw him the ball. We have both of those things.

I like this option more than I like taking a chance on a WR in the early rounds of the draft.

Agree again, I was just talking to another Instructor down here and made the same comment about Terrell not having anyone to throw to him. You can be titled the #1 receiver all year long, but if your QB blows goat nuts, does it matter what your title is ?? I wouldn't mind seeing him in stripes at a decent price, but don't think it will happen. Who knows ?? Its ALL speculation...

WHODEY !!!

I agree ...

If we don't re-sign TJ, I would be for taking a chance on Terrell.

Cincinnati would be the perfect place for the kid to get a second chance.
