LesterLyles
Would be a nice clog in the middle for the Bengals. M. Lewis,a t least in the past, certainly liked those massive D-tackles. IMO, this is the most important position to fill for Cincy. Good Rbs have become a dime a dozen and I have a gut feeling TJ will resign. D-tackle, IMO makes the defense. shworge
Actually they say d-tackle is the second hardest position to make an impact at as a rookie behind Quarterback. I would love to see the Bengals sign Pat Williams to a 2 year deal and use him in a rotation with Langston Moore, Mathias Askew and John Thornton. wookie
Pat Williams would be a good quick fix. How much luck the Bengals would have in signing him is another question. I think he'll ask for too much in FA, but if he doesn't then I'd take him. I've watched him over the last few years and he makes an impact. As for Shaun Cody, he's one of the best available in the draft and its unlikely that he'll be around at #17. Kochman
He is a stud. I would love to have him. But I think he will re-sign with buffalo though.
turningpoint
um i coulda swarn the bengals 5 years ago thought Ted Washington was too( another big bils FA DT) old to be a Bengal....so the bengals low ball offer him....he goes to the BEArs i think, then some how ends up in FoXBORO where he anchors the dline 2 years later to a superbowl.....Cmon Pat Williams has probably 3 good years left in him.Offer him a good 4 year deal with a it mostly backended on the 4th year, and cut his ass when he get's old...
