rob_justdmb
Who Dey Tree #1Game 1: November 28, 2004 - Cleveland Browns 48 - Cincinnati Bengals 58 (quality 10 out of 10)Game 2: January 3, 1982 - Buffalo Bills 21 - Cincinnati Bengals 28 (quality 8 out of 10, video is crisp, color slightly fading, looks good though)total of 5 dvd-r's, or 2 vhs tapesThe purpose of a tree is spread around copies so everyone can get one.Structure:3 people (branches) will send me 5 discs and a self addressed stamped envelope (for the same amount as it took to get there). I will mail them back soon after using the envelope they sent (known as blanks and postage or B&P). Those 3 people will arrange a similar deal with 3 other people each and so on. The bottom of the totem pole people are known as leafs, but they don't have to send anything to anyone. There are 4 different Media choices to sign up for.1. dvd » dvd - these people will get dvd copies from me or the second level and send dvd copies to the next level. Obviously you need a DVD burner.2. dvd » vhs - these people will get dvd copies and copy to vhs for their next level. Obviously you need a DVD player and vhs.3. vhs » vhs - blah blah gets a vhs copy, copy to vhs for next level. Obviously you need 2 vhs's.4. leaf - sits back and does nothing for anyone else, but waits longer to get it. Obviously you need 1 vhs.No one will be asked to do more than 3 copies. It sounds confusing if you've never done one, but it's not. It'll be easier to grasp when the structure is made.IMPORTANT GROUND RULES:1. No one is to ever turn a profit on these or any other game we use in subsequent trees.2. If you are either sending discs or receiving discs, make sure you know whether you need to send or receive DVD+R's or DVD-R's. All dvd players play both, but burners usually only read blanks discs of one or the other.3. back to #1. If you don't want to send a B & P and you want to trade tapes or discs something that's fine, if you want to send/receive Pay Pal that's fine, but no profit. 5 discs and postage is about 6 dollars at the absolute most.4. We're all fans and we want these for the same reason so do your best to speed through the process by having good communication with your people.Who Dey Tree #2 will consist of December 17, 1988 - Washington at Cincy (quality 7 out of 10) and December 5, 2004 Cincinnati at Baltimore (quality 10 out of 10). The faster we get this one done, the faster we do the next one.So on to Sign ups. Please copy/paste from here down and post below this message to sign up. If for some reason you don't want it on the board, PM me, but the inbox is only sooo big. If you change your mind after signups let me know, but once the structure is posted, please stick to it so we can get through it all with little trauma. Sign up period ends Saturday February 20 11:59 PM.===========================================1.Name - 2.E-mail address - 3.City/State - 4.Media (see above) -
rob_justdmb
top. considering how many posted in the thread that they wanted to start getting copies of games, I'm surprised that I have only 1 sign up.
skyline
Yeah, I just doubt that are too many trading-inclined people around here. I'd join in, but as of yet I don't have a dvd burner, and I don't particularly care for getting a VHS copy.
bengalboomer7
If I'm the only one a no one else signs up, we can just do it back and forth rob. I'm sure Kirk and others will be interested at some point in time. I want to start a good post 90's collection
Spcled3384
I'm in, but I have to see about the DVD burner. My friend (a fellow Bengals fan) has one, so I'll have to talk to him and see if he wants to do it. I'll get back to you soon on it.
