LABengalsFan09
Don't worry, the Eagle fans I know are not happy about this. Maybe this is a good thing for us...

schweinhart
He's off the market. Shoot...Franchise Rudi and trade him straight up for Simon. It should've been made clear to Eagles in Bowl that they need an RB to run between tackles. Dorsey Levens was solid in his day a ways back and Buckhalter ain't it either if they decide to re-sign him. The Eagles would benefit a lot by Rudi and Westbrook will proly be playing next year for the $1.8 mill Rudi played for in 2004.
PalmertotheJohnsons
first post...the trade for corey simon straight up for rudi johnson actually makes quite a bit of sense for both teams b/c both guys have similar cap numbers but i would want a draft pick thrown in (say 3rd rounder). That way we can get a back later in the draft to help offset the lost of rudi. I'm not completely sold on the idea of chris perry as our feature back, hopefully he can prove me wrong :player:
schweinhart
Hobson addressed a Rudi for Simon trade in a e-mail on bengals.com. He said the Eagles would want the pick because the DT franchise is higher value than RB. Plus, the Eagles got 5 1st day picks and I wouldn't be surprised to see them wind up w/ Citarick Fason and Eric Shelton to go w/ Westbrook.
