DuffMan
http://www.draftshowcase.com/swmock05.htmOnly problem is we don't address the TE position, but other than that i'd be happy, but Brimmer in the 3rd...I dunno he seems to be all over the place (1st-3rd round)
chrishcovga
I like this mock.. a couple of real guesses though, I don't see Justin Miller going that high, nor Rogers and Webster falling to middle of second round ! Ben Wilkerson going late first is kinda hard to see too. But as for Bengal picks.First round ok, Second round ok, third round ok ( doubtful maybe switch 2 and 3 ), round 4 , i'd rather have Kirk Morrison ILB, over Steve Savoy.round 5 ok, round 6 I would take a Qb, ( Kitna ain't gonna play forever ) and round 7 I'd take Khalif Barnes OT, Wisconsin. Hard to pass up on a road grader that late. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------But if the draft were to fall like this mock has it, I'd have to be a little greedy on the defensive side of the ball, couldn't resist Marcus Spears in the second round. So I guess my mock for this 7 round would look like1. Travis Johnson Dt, Florida St. - he's the top rated Dt and getting him at # 17 is a no brainer.2. Marcus Spears De, L.S.U. - could be seen as the most complete De in the draft.3. Jammal Brimmer Ss, UNLV. - Marvin wanted him in the '04 draft, just wasn't available.4. Kirk Morrison ILB, San Diego St. - Can't believe he would fall to Day 2, I'd have to grab him on GP !5. Chris Kemoeatau G, Utah. - Another Solid day one guy that falls, gotta love'em.6. Scott Mruzckowski C, Bowling Green - This draft site doesn't even evaluate the Center position - They don't have a single Center drafted after top 4 guys, Wilkerson,Spencer,Brown, and Carter.7. Khalif Barnes OT, Washington. - He should go higher than this.
bengalboomer7
looks a little Kooky to me. I like both of those safeties but why draft both of them.
chrishcovga
If the draft were today, and judging by how scouts are going to list their top 200 or 300 guys. Then my 7 round Bengal selections would fall something close to this. * Note * This is only based on how I think the " real " draft will fall !Round 1 : Shaun Cody Dt/De, U.S.C.Round 2 : David Baas G/C, MichiganRound 3 : Jamaal Brimmer Ss, U.N.L.V.Round 4 : Kay Jay Harris Rb, West VirginiaRound 5 : Jovan Haye De, VanderbiltRound 5 : ( Compensatory pick ) Geoff McArthur Wr, CaliforniaRound 6 : Lional Turner LB, L.S.U.Round 7 : Victor Sesay Te, Missouri

He seems to get slower and slower every time I see him. It's to the point now where I'm thinking my old grandad might have a shot at him in a foot race with his dress shoes on. Bengal_Smoov
I don't know about this mock, Carlos Rodger is 6th CB taken in this mock, wtf?? Didn't he win the Thorpe Award for the best db in college and lead a defense that went undefeated last year? Pacman Jones before Carlos Rodgers???? Also they have us taking Chris Spencer when Vince Carter is still on the board, another questionable pick. But it still to early to know how things are going to go, after FA and the combine is when the mocks may be useful, if they ever are. Bobcat Bengal
I'm sorry but I can't envision Cleveland selecting anyone but Alex Barron.

He's 6'2 260 lbs. Supposedly runs a high 4.5's or low 4.6 Not great speed, but very decent for a player his size.* Not sure if Harris would be there come 4th round either, but I do think with all the talent available at the running back spot this year, we should take advantage of it. HairOnFire
6. Scott Mruzckowski C, Bowling Green - This draft site doesn't even evaluate the Center position - They don't have a single Center drafted after top 4 guys, Wilkerson,Spencer,Brown, and Carter. Mruzckowski? Damn, what a great football name. I was scanning that mock for 2nd day center prospects with starting potential and was depressed to see only Jason Brown in the 5th round. Frankly, that seems about right as far as value, but I don't think I could pull that trigger.
HairOnFire
I can't believe how high that mock has Brandon Browner going. I really like Browner, but I've got a little trouble seeing him as a potential 1st rounder....or higher ranked than Webster. Can that be right? I watched an interview with WR/RS Roscoe Parrish the other day and I'd estimate that I was able to understand about every third word that left his mouth. However, I was able to make out enough to learn that Roscoe spoke to two NFL sources and..."Bofe of 'em said I prolly be a two rounder." Well, somebody is horribly wrong because he went 137th in the mock. Last, JJ Arrington was mocked as the 100th pick....prompting me to rethink my feelings about Rudi. Hey, maybe RB's are a dime a dozen.
chrishcovga
I'm sorry but I can't envision Cleveland selecting anyone but Alex Barron. It's gonna be hard to guess what Cleveland is going to do this year. New Coach, New Management, So many questions they'll have to answer..such as 1. Is Luke McCown the qb of the future..?2. Do we ship out William Green..?3. Are we finally going to draft a Left Tackle..?4. Are We finally going to draft an elite Cornerback prospect...?5. Are we finally going to draft a legitimate Wr..?And the list could go on and on...
schweinhart
The Clowns definitely got questions, questions, questions. What they do w/ UFAs like Anthony Henry, Warrick Holdman, Kelly Holcomb, and Andre King may factor into their draft. Plus whether or not to keep Northcutt who is due a $2 mill roster bonus in March. Also, MLB Andra Davis is an RFA and they'll likely have to tender him high.Still, I'd say WR like Mike Williams or Braylon Edwards would be on their radar if not Derrick Johnson or Antrell Rolle or Alex Barron. Too early to tell who they are likely to draft if they keep #3.This mock has them taking Nick Kaczur in the 3rd. He's a tough, nasty LT but proly more like 5th or 6th rd talent. Can't see Clowns taking Kyle Eckel at FB in 4th w/ Terrelle Smith signed last year to 4 yr deal.
